I got the Perseus and the power is amazing. My only issue is getting my forehand and backhand drives to stay in the court. I'm working on it because the power at the kitchen is incredible. It is 100% better than the Gearbox Power Pro Elongated but still hard to control. I will give it one week to get dialed in. I am a 5.5 who played tennis for 25 years.
Yes, the swing weight of the Perseus is ~120 while it is ~115 with the Hyperion. Both have a low twist weight ~5.9-6.0. I'm leaning toward the Hyperion for its lower swing weight and more aerodynamic shape, but I'll add lead tape to increase the twist weight (without increasing the swing weight too much).
Make sure you have fantastic Echo mitigation. Belong to a Picklr in Loveland and it has no echo mitigation and it is so loud and hard to play when you can't even hear your partner say the score.
Thank you for your time and posting. Chicken and Pickle coming here to Las Vegas. I'll take Jay over Tyson, IMO, Tyson is on the way out. Jay still has his speed. Inconsistent, poor quality, JOOLA is still consistent.
Great video. In the hands of young 5.0-type players, I can see how this paddle could/will be a huge advantage. Players below 4.5 with these types of paddles will change the game... Dodgeball. My fear is pickleball will follow similar changes in tennis. The evolution of the racquet technology over the past 25 years has ruined the game. The changes eliminated several styles of play, strategies, and point development. Everyone now plays the same style of tennis... all counterpunchers. I can't recall the exact 15-year period but from 2004 to 2019 three guys won 55 of the 60 majors. I'm worried the power game of PB will forever change the game.
Three different partners last night at Crescent Lake several wins with each of them. I’m guessing this is one of the Tampa players that comes over and sits on the back of the rack all night.
Tennis sucks so lets make paddles that...act like tennis. Uh, ok. Inspired by Tyson’s tennis background and produces incredible ball speed while also “playing as if it has strings.” Crossover Tennis players will enjoy the elongated paddle shape that extends the reach and creates an extra-large hitting surface. Magnus 3 features patent-pending Propulsion Core technology that allows for explosive power on drives, counters, and speed ups {so pickleball now wants to be tennis?
Great pod, full of content. How many "F" bombs does Travis drop in the kids clinics? "Back of the Rack" Can't wait to hear you guys rip Kyle Yates for his Open tantrum.
Back of the Rack! Great name! (Could have been stronger and edgier... But you can always keep Tennis Sucks for the an "underground" channel for more edgy content) #PickleballChris #TylerWrenProPickleball #OptaHealthAndWellness #Pickleball

Travis, enjoyed watching you compete this past weekend. Good play!
Back of the Rack sounds like you're shopping for clearance clothes. Podcast telling us what is on sale at JC Penney

Yall should look at the new courts coming to Austin. They are retrofitting a big golf smith store into 15 indoor courts
It really does make sense about Graham and interior design btw
Did they core crush yet?
With Juame's recent results, do you think there will be a trade for him?
the weight of the PERSEUS 16mm swing looks quite heavy, the 16mm hyperion moves lighter? thanks

You need to come to Ace (singular - not Aces) Pickleball Club in Fort Wayne, IN. 21 indoor courts.
Make sure you have fantastic Echo mitigation. Belong to a Picklr in Loveland and it has no echo mitigation and it is so loud and hard to play when you can't even hear your partner say the score.
Thanks for the tip!
You are so right Craig. Most facilities we went to we could not have a conversation even at the kitchen line.
is this J.W. Cate complex or Walter Fuller at nite?
Crescent Lake
You know where it is!
It’s Tyson’s pride that hurts.
I would take Jay over TM all day only due to injury and inconsistent play over the long term.
Tyson has better or at least equal results and a way bigger following which is valuable to the teams long term

This is actually hilarious. How have i never seen you guys before. BoHo chic…
Let's go Samantha! Ft Worth!
Ahhh some of the guys in Tampa told me that everyone calls Graham "the Pickle Swallower" and that he can only win at cresent park with Travis 😆

PS keep up the Swagger Boys

The suckers will always know!
French is maybe the most annoying human being in the world almost like some kind of method actor getting into character.
I followed the Florida Smash on insta to see about a Sunday swagger giveaway? Has that happened yet?
We're going to post this week about it. Stay tuned :D
