Yes dear you are absolutely right.
Pupitre is also an exception .
But over here i have listed only a few exceptions just to explain the concept.
Infact there are manyy exceptions . There ia a huge list.😊

madam respond to my question.ln my opinion,english grammar is straight forward and easy to learn but french is very complicated.for example definite article "THE" remains same everywhere in all english sentences.French has so many versions of definite articles,that confuses a learner.In English,"MY" remains the same everywhere,for example:MY book,MY books,MY school,MY chair, MY schools,MY chairs but French has MON,MA,MES why is french so complicated?Since you know,both French and English,in your opinion which one is straightforward and easy to learn?
