i was so obsessed with every single thing about hamilton at 11 in 2014 and by the time i was in high school it was seen as slightly cringe but junior year my ap us history got us to do a project to submit to the hamilton project and 2 of my best friends WON it and we were completely beside ourselves and our whole class were going to get a whole trip to go see it and so they could present it and it was 2020 and got canceled we were devastated and talk about it often edit not that it is cringe at all in the slightest i included that bc my classmates were still super excited despite being haters bc of “cringe”
