Skipping is great fun ,put together 2 mins consistently, decent intensity.I love it ,bought a pair of vipers boots
Top man for making this video!
Just bought the beastrope elite 👍
The beast gear elite rope, really is elite if you want nice build quality, a fast rope and cold metal handles I would deffo recommend, the only I thing I can say is do not use it on concrete or bricking surface without the rope cover, any other indoor surface is fine
Thanks for this. Just got the Elite one
Is it good ? Thinking about getting one
A very well explained video, thanks! Also thanks for the pain warning.
🙌🏼👍🏼
The Elite rope is pretty bad. The aluminium handles are too slippery so i had to wrap rubber bands around them to give some grip. The actual rope can't be used outside as the steel cable gets exposed quickly - the exposed cable hurts whenever you trip over the rope. It's good that they give a spare cable, but that runs out.
Definitely wouldn't buy again and would go for a nylon rope instead
I didn’t use it out on concrete very much only on wood floor
Did you use the rubber protector on it to protect the cable outdoors
The aluminium handles I didn’t find slippery either
Although as stated in the video I found it harder to skip with than the shorter plastic handles
My rush athletics nylon rope is my go to rope especially for tricks
@@Fit2Box I have used the rubber protector and that splits after about a week, the cable is exposed by the end of week 2 . I do skip alot but still just not worth it.
@@a.garcha199 wow what surface are you skipping on?
@@Fit2Box I skip on concrete
@@a.garcha199 yes concrete is a skipping rope killer
I skip on rubber mats when on my concrete patio
Better on the rope better for your knees
Why such long handles on the Elite? You should grip near the top of the handle so that knurled area is just a waste of time 🤔
When the steel starts to show through the plastic, does it affect rope performance? I wonder if a worn out plastic sheath really demands the cord to be replaced or if it can be use until the steel starts fraying. PVC sheathed galvanised chord is cheap, so as long as the handles have a good lifespan it is possible to have dozens of cords lengths on standby.
Once the plastic is worn through and the steel fraying I would say it need a new cords as it hurts if the exposed section hits your legs
@@Fit2Box this is what I was thinking
It also gets tangled very easily and once a bit of metal starts to show it gets worse very quickly.
I just got one do you snip the end of if you want it shorter?
Follow the instructions that come with it and don’t cut it too short so be careful
@@Fit2Box how long should it be lol should the handles come up to your armpit? Did for a hour today still couldn’t get it lol was getting there though
@@Hondafn put one foot on the rope handles should come armpit level
@@Fit2Box ok the handle are very long on them ropes though red one I got
@@Fit2Box the rope should come to lower chest I think don’t matter about handles?
Do you know where it will be possible to get a good rush athletics nylon rope please ?
I would buy them direct from rush athletics
I’m not aware of any stockists
@@Fit2Box Thank you very much, are they good for losing weight as well ?
@@gvidaskai6134 yes skipping is great cardio
@@Fit2Box Okay, thank you!
Im currently waiting for my rush athletics speed rope to come. I have used an rdx speed rope for a while and have had to replace the cable several times and the bearings are extremely poor.
Rush athletes rope are excellent
Fit2Box 💯
Is the elite good for tricks?
I prefer a vinyl rope for tricks
Skipping is just wrong. I had such a bad experience once trying to skip & got tangled up good & proper.
That night I dreamt that I was fighting Mr Tickle on a deck whilst the boat was being attacked by a giant octopus.
Terrible 😴😴😱😱
Simple fix - More practice needed 👀
@@Fit2Box I can't I'm scared 😆😆
