When those links are initially created, they are given a length and invert. When you adjust the link graphically to connect to a downstream inlet, you should adjust the length based on the curb flow distance and the invert to the grate of the inlet. Both are manual steps though... Good luck!

When you adding the by pass links you do not have to worry about the length and invert section?
