It is quite simple after all. Just get the right parts and bolt them on. To me hardest is to tune ecu and i feel the ecus on these are pain in the ass tune..but doable
Diffas, how are you? Nice to see that you have so much work put in a 2.5 tdi v6. I have one with me too, i have a a4 b5 sedan with 2.5 tdi from 1998, and i have search a lot, and i mean, a LOT, and i found you with a 2.5 tdi TRI TURBO, it s insane. People always tell me that its a engine that its limited and can't make so much power than a 1.9 tdi. But hey, i don't want 300hp or 400 hp, my point is about 230hp and binary too, now i am with 180hp, i put an a6 180hp ecu map (as you know, this ones have 150hp original). I have stock original fuel pump, stock turbo and stock intercoolers. So King Diffas, can you tell me, if just a bigger turbo like a gtb22/60 vk, a little bigger intercoolers and a ecu map to run with it, is it enought, and its that hard to tune this ecu at some point? Yeah thanks mate! For me it has been work on progress since i bought my first b5 back in the 2007. Every year i wanted to bit faster and get more power so baby upgrades were made. Once i was around 350-380hp range i felt that i need need turbo compound setup to get semi good spool and high boost numbers. Vision was v6 with 3 turbos. :) Turned out pretty good setup. What comes to your setup i feel that you need newer 99/00 150hp akn injectors and fit dsla143p970 nozzles. Also nozzles from ake work fine. Basically just any newer type injectors. And gtb1756vk from 2.7tdi. for sure you can put also gtb2260vk and you have more on reserve. Some low rev transient and spool is lost but that also saves powertrain
Hi Diffas! which internal diameter of pipes do you use for custom manifolds? I am looking for 40mm outer, and 36mm innner, is it good? Current setup is 2260vk, 300hp and 640nm. I worry about the manifolds, that may be destoy.
Cant remeber exactly but i think it was about 38mm ID, Its been so long time ago those were made i cant remeber anymore. I belive it was 42.4x2 or 42.4x2.6mm pipe.
@@marx921manifold maker told that the 441 is best stainless for exhaust manifold. It is ferritic grade so it does not crack that much. Its not that easy to get. One shop here sells it
Lämpötila pitäis olla (ainakin 1.9tdi edc15) 0x288 tavu 1 eli se mikä videolla näyttää arvoa 56, muuttuuko se jos anturia lämmittää? Kaava vois olla esim A-40, eli tässä tapauksessa jäähdytysneste olis 56-40 = 16 astetta?

im pretty sure they were 42x2 AISI441
@@bigdiffas Thank you for information, I can buy only aisi316 or 304 stainless steel, but it seems have better high temp. range.
