been there a few times back in my early teenager days late 90s early 00s.. always enjoyed our stay with family or friends.. (Y) alothas changed since then
Was there the other month and it was ok. Feels like some of the work they put in a few years ago to refresh the main entertainment complex is looking a bit tired though. Still a great place but the prices are crazy sometimes, even for a weekend stay.
Enjoy! We were back there just the other week not long after reopening. Was pretty busy but I’ve heard the swimming pool isn’t open now, hopefully it’ll reopen once you’re there if you want to use it.
@@ykuhsdf ah. I went in summer 2019 and I was in castle lakes. Going again Friday morning unsure where we are yet but we’ll get it all figured out. What is it like with the COVID restrictions?
@@soyneon1919 Yeah, we had to change caravans but they tell you in advance now before you go as they also allow you to select different caravans before you go. In terms of differences with covid, everything needs to be booked really including time in the main bar. Arcades were open as normal and there were queues at the little mini market. If you can’t book something then it’s sometimes worth going along and checking if any spaces are free as a lot of people were booking but not turning up. Hope you have a good holiday.
You used to be able to buy them separate but it will depend on the situation and what you're booking. Is it a tourer, private rental, through haven etc.?
@@SeanBentong yeah, with a stay you won't get in. It would be best to call / email them and just ask to add passes on / upgrade. The caravan should be the same so I can't imagine it would be an issue but probably worth checking before you go.
Just found out that all prices have went up not of the pandemic because uk government is giving these a tax cut if they give up caravans to refugees wtf it's supposed to be a holiday camp for the kids but Ukraine and Afghanistan men are getting to stay there without any family disgusting
Going there next month we always go there and we love it the caravans are pure luxury experience

Yes
Hi
Hi
There is a Chinese also 🍜
There is indeed although it wasn’t open when we went on this trip. It’s a decent buffet.
Just an update on this, they’ve closed it down. It’s some sort of staff area now so no more buffet / Chinese on site.
what is the song at the start
If I’ve not put it in the description then I’m not sure. It will be from the official copyright free UA-cam library though.
Hello!
Hello
Where were you at. Castle lakes?
This van was at Lakeside North, really not too far from the main complex.
