I own this particular watch for the last couple of years. It is very comfortable to wear. In regular daylight or in a well lit area it's a striking dial. In lower light situations if you have older eyes like me, it gets a bit hard to read. The lume is also not great and fades out to nothing within about ten minutes. The stock strap is junk and looks pretty poor after regular wear, splitting and cracking especially around the dual holes by the buckle. I've currently got mine on a sailcloth and it works well with the watch. It's one of my favourites in my collection and is in regular rotation.
I love these Hamiltons……couldn’t possibly read that black version, I have the silver dial with black hands and numerals, day date on the inner circle is the reason I bought it, no numbers sacrificed. Great review thanks.
"Modern, stealthy, tactical" is true, and I think its also true it draws A LOT from retro-futurism designs of the 1940s. It really seems like thats the optic Swatch wants for the Hamilton line
Good review. I have this watch, I love it, about as understated as you can get for the value. The lume is truly garbage in my experience but I guess that’s to be expected with the color scheme, as you noted. Cheers.
IMO this is such a postively contemporary break from traditional Khakis It will be obvious what decade this came from, which I can really appreciate especially with historical brands
Thats why you carry a phone. lol Style is just that, no need to be practical, it have the word tactical in the name. Lets all be real, nothing tactical about this watch. It's more for style then anything else.
Just because it's blacked out doesn't make it tactical. My brother's in the RCMP and my cousin's son is in the Canadian forces and yes they don't want watches that stand out but they also want watches with easy-to-read faces. That means positive display shocks and watches that may have black dials but have nice bright easy to read hands and indices and fonts. This is for the tacti-cool and COD crowd who have no idea what makes a good duty or field watch. The titanium black pvd watch makes allot more sense IMO.
This watch is so awesome and I would totally get it but I'm having an issue with dropping the beats per hour in favor of a longer battery life. I mean I understand the concept don't get me wrong but you're essentially paying the price for a high-end movement with the actual functionality of NH-35 lol I'd rather just get a stylistically similar watch with an NH-35 movement and pay hundreds less in favor of a little bit longer battery life which to be honest doesn't come in that handy when you actually think about it especially depending on how you wear your watches.
@@Wisdomseeker6 I understand watches bud. I was speaking tongue and cheek. I obviously meant the power reserve. My opinion is still the same. Thanks though
Form follows function, fail… this watch face is hard to read in good light, worse in poor light. Stick with the original white numbers against a black face.. Nice dressy watch but not really made for the field is it.

Best field watch! I have the 705050. Doesn’t leave my wrist. thank’s for the vid Teddy!

Picked up the 40mm quartz version today. Stunning in person, much easier to read than pictures would indicate
How do you like it after 1 year? Looking at the quartz model as well.
The only disappointing thing about it is the WR. 5bar is pretty low for an Adventure watch.
my reason for not buying it atleast 10bar. But in the way of design a great looking watch.
Its nice, but I would opt for the Yema Air Force Dark, 39mm, great price, in-house movement.
What’s the actual lug to lug? It’s obviously not 20mm and I checked the comments but didn’t see it. No worries teddy. :)

I have the H70505933, which I wear on a cognac leather nato. Always looks great and keeps good time.
Thank you.
Purchased this very model after your review.

1:15 lug to lug 20mm
They got a quartz similar version also.
Yo Teddy! Make one on the chronograph version! 🤘🏾😤🤘🏾
In my opinion , it does not need shappire when the water resist is 50m or less
Beautiful all black with a pop of red 🔥🔥
Looks absolutely beautiful 😍
Zenith defy ceramic next?
Thanks again for a very good review.
Not the most practical, but pretty cool. Cheers mate 👍🏻
Agree, see you in the field 🌻
Great macro shots!
is that bambino u wearing?

That's sick honestly
Very sick 😷⌚
excellent video
How much is the legibility impacted? I actually use my watch to tell the time. That looks like a bit of work to read.

@@internalharm that’s my point - I want my watches to tell me the time. This one is too much style, not enough function. But, to each his own.
They use a modified low grade ETA or Sellita SW200, accuracy is not great compared to a top grade.
Looks beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 ❤️
Works for me.
First view and like!!!
Love the content Teddy, You’ve got me hooked on watches haha! Keep it coming 👍
Great review, thanks. Hamilton is great!
Excelente video 😀
how dare an unworthy vincero ad try to go on teddy's video!!! 😆😆😆😎👍
Wish it had some lume
Nothing tactical about 50m of water resistance. Teddy also sells the Marathon MSAR & GSAR…
wassup teddy!!! 😎✌️
I owm this watch
how does the case and movement accuracy, finishing, and build quality of the breitling superocean or the avenger compare to the Rolex submariner 😎👍
Apples and oranges
Not every watch has to be for me. Beautiful, but they might have sized me out.

There is no battery in this watch it’s an automatic dropping the beat rate helps the main spring store more energy

👍🏽
42 too wide
imagine the watch has white, or red numbers! ... but so ... no
Please don't say strap monster 😔
dont know why but dont find this watch that much appealing
.

Looks evil
Too big. Way too big.
As a farmer with an 8 inch wrist, I had to wait a long time for a khaki my size. Fuck off
