The whole point is that it's not about the looks. The purpose of shaving your head is to drop such a perspective of being attached to your hair to a point where it drives your life. We care too much about how society sees us that we forget how we see our selves and what makes us happy. We slowly change and ingrain the idea of pleasing others and having others like us as a "success", when in fact it's a failure.
Recently enlisted here, honestly the good thing about shaving your hair is not about masculinity or discipline, it is the fact that its easier to wash and dry LMAO
Shaving my head is one of the best things I've ever done. It's an exhilarating feeling, provides a sense of confidence, and removes a huge burden. I agree with Michael. Every man should do it. I see no reason to have hair again.
Same here. After shaving my head for the first time and liking how it looked and felt I am slowly heading for bald by choice and shaving more and more frequently (from once a year to three times this year). There is something therapeutical about shaving your head and going from a full head of thick, slightly longer hair to a smooth, clean skull while observing the transformation. It is like shedding your usual self and becoming someone else by exposing yourself and also finding out who you truly are since you can't hide behind a hairstyle anymore. It feels right, I feel more manly, confident, dominant and like myself. With the beard I am additionally growing now I realise that I am not a boy anymore but a man who is in charge of his own life and decisions, moreover I like how being bald and slowly more and more beardy makes me look older by a few years. It really is freeing and liberating and I am considering shaving my head for the whole 2025 and actually embracing it in front of people who know me like friends, relatives, family and loved ones since for now I only shaved my head when I was not around them for a specific amount of time.
@@rjcarter2904 I think I will make it a daily routine and habit while getting ready for the day. Might lather up and shave my head either after getting up or after breakfast. At best I might do it every second or third day if the skin on my head should get irritated.
I shaved my head while hiking the Appalachian trail. It actually made my life harder because sunburn on the head was now something I had to account for.
in my senior year of highschool in a bad emotional state which took an effect on my hair, and one day after weeks of contemplating i buzzed it (bc it was annoying to deal with and made me too self conscious) randomly one day and went to school like it was nothing. everyone had something to say but i didnt care lol just carried on
Im 14, never shaved the head, i am obsessed with bald heads but never were brave to do it, on the vacations i'll trim to 0 and try a smooth shave, just once and not care about what people say.
@@LakituKoopa perfect, you should also try, it's so good to feel the clippers getting all of ur hair shaved, and the head after the shave feels so good
@@headshavelover-c2s did it some time ago. Woke up one morning with horrible bed hair and instead of combing I came up with the idea of just shaving it just for fun and to see how I look without hair. Razor shaved after buzzing my hair off and I actually liked the result. Moving the clippers over the head feels like a massage and the bald head just feels like soft and smooth leather. I love it and I am now shaving my head from time to time if feeling like changing my hairstyle. I actually consider sporting the bald style for the whole next year.
@@headshavelover-c2s it does feel good. Since shaving for the first time I always get tempted to shave again when my hair gets a little longer. It just feels nice buzzing the hair off.
I just shaved my head today for the first time in my life. It feels good Some laughed whereas some said that it suits me :) I don't mind, I like how it feels. First and last for everything! Haha
I didn't get these videos initially but I get it now. There's a sense of shedding, death and rebirth and growth stripping down to bare and detachment. Thanks again for the videos! I haven't done it yet but i will
Yooo keep the consistancy on your uploads up!! Im sure it doesnt take that long for you to record but you have good speaking skills. Proud of your work
"it says to society, you don't care, even if you do, that's what it implies. you have too much testosterone and other things to worry about." this seems nonsensical to me. if you truly didn't care, why would you need to send a message to society at all?
Honestly, I really agree with the ideas behind it, but I don’t fully agree with the recommendation. Why choose hair as a path to be humbled and enlightened about the lixuries of life and to stimulate appreciation for things you take for granted? Why not choose to fast for a week? Or to wear humiliating clothes, or something else? Also, insecure people just need to stop getting in xenoestrogens, get enough boron, magnesium, vitamin D, optimize circadian rhythm with plenty of sleep, and expose themselves to having smalltalk with strangers they’re interested in.
Not everyone can look good like you without hair bro. I’ll look like some Pokemon character without hair
So quick
drop the ego bud
