This is such a beautiful playlist, thanks for uploading! This has always been my favorite little sub-genre of music. You hit all the good ones! The only other piece I know on par with these is the violin-cello duet section from Tchaik’s Swan Lake: Act II: Dance of the Swans. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Ravel! You should listen to the recording with Gautier and Renaud Capuçon, it’s my favorite one. Anyone else reading this, go listen to the full piece! (The Capuçon recording is done about half way into the full length of the video). I’m a cellist and I’m super excited to to explore the pieces on this playlist I havent heard of! Currently working on the passacaglia with a violinist. Thanks for introducing me and the rest of UA-cam to this new music!
I appreciate the ad skip, thanks for that! :D
you deserve a sub just because of this comment my guy :)
@@lennytriem1942 I shall look into it!
Thank you for this comment! I didn’t know about that trick to skip ads before now and I’m grateful that you included that info. I also appreciate all of the information attached to each linked song combined with its appropriate time marker. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber. Much love 💞
finally some cello appreciation

The best instrument is quite underrated. But when it calls you, you can't resist.

@@thetimetraveller2671 lol, wait until you lost that rhythm in the background that helps others out.
i play cello and i can definitely speak for the cellos that our instruments do talk to each other. we made our own language we can get through the whole lesson without having to say a word.

The cello and violin are either having a midnight gossip sesh, OR a philosophical debate over the the state of the music world. I do not believe there can be an in between. I love the playlist, it’s so pretty!
True. I bet for the last one, that truly sounds as a philosophical talk...
@@lovekiyo2352 It really does sound like one
This makes me happy as a cellist : D finally some cello appreciation
No literally. We get no appreciation these days 😭😭
as a violist whose friends are are all cellists, you guys are awesome
i love this playlist
A sharp voice spoke harshly from behind the heavy curtains. A gentle voice interrupted. Between the sharp and gentle voices, the room was soon filled with melodious voice each word, each tone lilting and lifting the atmosphere into one of great excitement and suspense. To these two voices, the people danced and twirled. The violin and the cello finally embraced each other in apology. Harmony continued the festivities.

Read this while listening to the masterpiece❤
She walked into the empty wide room, with a spark of excitement in her eyes. And the more she looked at the violin the more it got beautiful. Enchanted by the instrument, she held it in her arms with a wide smile forming on her face, then she tucked it under her chin. She looked at tge music sheet in front of her, then she moved the bow on the strings gracefully yet carefully trying to not mess the melody, and for a moment it felt like she was a slave to the musical notes, so she lost herself playing the violin perfectly as her movements were nothing short of incredible.
The magical melody she played, reached the hallways, where another man holding his cello in its case walked, trying to find the source of this magic. Though, he didn't know which room shall he enter. So he decided to communicate with the violinist through his skills. And here he goes, putting the cello in the right position and making the bow jump from one string to the other elegantly, while making sure that the instrument's sound maches the violin's incredible voice. The violonist loved the glorious sound of the cello that cried out to the violin as is it was seeking attention from it. Soon enough, the two musicians found themselves communicating with each other through a conversation between two enticing instruments.
It was tremendously beautiful, indeed💘
I play the violin and my crush plays the cello, definitely an amazing pair
yo same here
Ship it. It's meant to be. PLEASE!
Cellos sound so good all the time, and personally cello and violin sound really good toghether :]
my friend who plays the violin and me who plays the cello will enjoy this, thanks
Incredibly harmonious . And as a vocalist I can appreciate what instrumentalists do. It's a pleasure to sit and watch them ..
Can't wait to listen to this. The photos, titles, art, and of course music of this channel creates the most mysterious and otherworldly experience. Thank you so much for your work and thought.
as a cellist myself, thx
Nobody, I love you and all your playlists. You're a very special person, thanks.
He is a very special person.
I believe that music is the language of emotions and this conversation between two beautiful instruments and their talented players, is engaging, to say the least. Thank you for this video! Much love 💞
I play piano, but my brother plays the violin. It's beautiful. Music itself is beautiful.
Hi, I was thinking of making a channel like this but with playlists about different books, and I was just wondering is there anything to do with copyright I should be aware of? because I don't want to get sued or anything lmao also this playlist is absolutely beautiful and I will be listening to it forever
Don't monetize since a lot of classical music while being in public domain, the producers of modern performances have their copyright on the recordings. You wouldn't get sued but if someone really wants to they could strike your channel. People who make playlists sort of just do it for the sake of it and if things get taken down then so be it.

As a former violinist and a current cellist i loved this
I read the title and immediately saved this to my "Work/Study" playlist.
Something that came to mind while listening to this lovely music:
-
The walls of the music room loomed over her, shadow spilling from the corners, their comforting embrace a stark contrast to the eeriness of the other rooms in the manor. A balcony that occupied the entirety of the wall brought in a light breeze, silver moonlight spilled through the trees over stone benches and overgrown ivy. The woman brushed her hand over the instrument, lifting it as tenderly as a fragile hummingbird. The soft melody poured from the violin, hauntingly lovely, so lovely. Shrouded by the trees and nighttime, the man watched her with a growing curiosity. The cello rested against his leg and his fingers traced the curling pattern on its wood as he watched her. She was enraptured, her eyes closed, her hair fluttering softly against the wind. And he called out to her with a voice of an evocative tune, letting the music twine around the violin’s. For a moment she stilled, the voice silenced. And then she answered, their melodies in sync. Soft, lilting voices and melodious tones carried into the many hours of the night sky, full of silken darkness, and exchange of a thousand brilliant words, yet not a single one said. The only witnesses, the wind and the words it whisper to the trees.
Thank you, dear nobody. Didn't know I needed this. I do now.
We need more of this please 🙏 This is amazing!!!

Magnificent, exquisite. Love it! ❤
I thought I preferred the sound of cello over any other instrument, including violin. What i recently discovered I actually liked was the sound of viola. It has the best of both cello and violin.

If I'm not mistaken, the passacaglia at the end (handel/halvorsen) is the piece Data played with his "mother" in the Next Generation episode Inheritance.
