this just shows that some colors on materials in video games are just completely the wrong shade and completely unrealistic they are always perfect colors (bright green grass, perfect brown wood,) the ai used more realistic, wet or aged colors
Exactly, i was messing around with Fallout 4 ENBs and noticed it, whenever i bumb green and yellow tones, blow out lights, bloom, and increase Depth of Field levels it starts looking vastly more realistic than the basic ENB preset.

This would be just perfect for optimizing game graphics during the development process when aiming for photorealism! Artists could align their level design to how the same scene would look like in real life by adjusting the textures / grading constantly to match the AI footage.

Coz it's what sells. Trust me on this majority of gamers don't really want an exact replica of real life. Gta 5 rdr 2 and spiderman 2 are some of the best graphical masterpieces there might be. But they sold so much because there was an angle of comic bookness or cartoonishness in them. Gta 6 will also sell a lot and not due to realism but due to the fact that there will be some angle of video game in that. Video games should never be ultra realistic. They are cartoons and a game afterall. They should remain that way.

Yup, but instead of adding frames it will restructure every frame engine generate or even better, intercept that information and change frame before displaying on screen (virtually i mean to lower double CPU load to single load allowing each frame to be created by AI based on original frame DATA, but not actual frame, this way FRAME will be made by AI and original frame will have only DATA information left never loading pixels that load CPU, it will load pixels for AI frame)
I'm calling it, R* will find the way to use this technology in a nice way, and this is how RDR3 will actually look (I mean, without the artifacts and mistakes)

This is rather so cool. You can use AI to upscale objects and make them more realistic. This could speed up the process and allow for the game to have much more props and buildings and other stuff. Imagine, you make a simple brick wall in blender without any colour and then let AI upscale it and add details. You just have to control the design.

I image a future where anyone can sit at home with their computor building a 3D environment with geometric shapes that can be AI generated to resemble anything and then on top of that - AI visuals/imagary can be rendered. This will allow for any single person to be able to create high quality photoreal both movies and games. Just imagine the liberation of artists and ideas, passion projects and revolution of human expression.

Why does Rockstar always use such a heavy filter in their video games and why can’t they make their games look this real 3:20?

In real life it's not that overblown with bloom like the AI one, it's basically what you see through a filter of a camera lens
