Fully Agree with you about the Noisy Wiper blades Geez it's not as if they are going to break the bank either LOL...You can pick up a non squeaky pair these days for around a tenner...I started watching your videos about 9 months ago as I was looking to get back on the Rd I bought a 2007 Toyota 2Ltr Diesel and can't believe how good they are on fuel managed 49.7MPG overall on a recent trip to Leicestershire and back to Liverpool and with the 6 Speed box the Engine wasn't much above Tick over at 70 on the Motorway Amazing when you think of what the car's used to be like 2Ltr Capri 26mpg on a good day....Really Enjoy watching your very well produced videos 👍👍👍👍I am sure that little Corsa will make someone a great little car...keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks, much appreciated
The way you're revving it there's no way those economy figures will be achieved, it's a diesel it's got torque no need to rev it that hard between gears. Nice car by the way, on par with Fiesta toe to toe I think.
i gave my corsa a blast down the road today my car dont like going slow ps i cleaned it today out side
i wish all garages do test drives like you do then they be some good cars out there
ha, i hope they don't because we sell a lot of cars by doing things differently to others
it revs up perfect ive bought a fuel filter but they don't supply clips I phoned Vauxhall up but they told me to phone fiat because its a fiat engine multijet 1.3 cdti wish I bought a fiesta diesel ecotomic 0 road tax that was same price but higher miles
What model corsa comes with the screen like the one you are driving?
these engines are amazing but it’s a difficult fix when the glow plug blows
what bhp was this corsa barrie it looks a fast car
My 2009 Corsa D active developed horrendous clutch judder. Chopped it in a month ago after 10 years.
10 years cheap motoring,
a full clutch change is around £500.. probably would have been more economical for you to just do that....
There were other things beginning to fail on it too. Uneconomical when the costs were all added up.
been test driving my corsa d 1.3 cdti but has got a misfire at low revs i think it was on the fuel light for ages maybe got some rust from the tank stuck in fuel filter ?
is it a petrol? if so will be a coil pack,
i got information from google so ?
IM GOING TO BUY A TUNING CHIP FOR THE CORSA GIVES IT MORE BHP AND TORQUE SIMPLE PLUG IN AND PLAY MACHINE ONLY 64.00 POUND
do you need it? I always think that things that are made to work harder dont last as long
2:20 GORDON BENNET :D
Danny B Tech flipping rattles and knocks drive me mad!
Yes, indeed... he forgot to apply the handbrake when he stopped!
my corsa is quit nippy feels fast its having new glow plugs next week
trouble starting? light staying on?
Mine has 42,000 just been serviced and the little spanner light is on, needs new glow plugs! Is that an expensive job ?? Thanks
@@jacobboni3889 no i done it myself cost me 33.00 for ngk glow plugs
Are these any good with this engine?
yes the engine is brilliant
the corsa d 1.3 cdti is a red arrow they go well nippy little car
Red Arrow, yep that reminds me of their adverts where they release different colour smoke from the backs of the car
hi barrie what wax does lance use on the cars . on mine i use waterless williams spray and shine its fantastic and save on water bill
Craig Trigg he uses allsorts, mainly Autoglym but he has some other stuff which costs a fortune and you put it on with your bare hands
Do you recommend this or the 1.2 petrol?
I would choose the diesel, but both great cars
@@BarrieCrampton thought so
guess how much the same garage offered for my corsa d only 1500 pound
Craig Trigg the garage you bought it from?
@@BarrieCrampton yes i payed 3500 pound last september
Craig Trigg ouch, i have to say though that it isn’t all profit, overheads plus vat kill the job
I have an offer for the same car it’s has 129k miles on it will it last long ?
if it has a good service history anf been looked after it should do
129,000 is barely run in on a diesel
no its a diesel corsa d 1.3 cdti 75hp thanks barrie
diesel ignites by compression, so it will either be and injector (gummed up or seal leaking) or air leak would think that if it was the fuel filter the miss fire would be more likely to occur at higher speeds when more fuel is required, but as a precaution i would also check for signs of a head gasket leak, ie water in oil, or oil in water
WAS THIS CAR A 90 BHP
i cant remember sorry
i found out whats the matter with the corsa its a map senser gone being replaced then should work ok
Excellent news
Video??
THAT CORSA IM SEEING IS BRIGHT RED 5 DOOR
