It is once you get used to it, which took me 3/4 days 10 years ago and i still play every game like this. As long a you also use your hands for something else (work, pull ups, push ups) it shouldn't harm your fingers long term

I just can't get behind configs no matter what, whether it's Mnk or Roller. But it seems like people just don't care anymore

Man ... I'm a Season 0-M&K-Player and I have never complained about AA. It was always okay for me to have AA on controller and there for you don't have as good movement as with M&K. But since these Configs became mainstream, Apex feels so unfair. Feels like everyone is hitting super glide and other movement tech every damn time and still hitting like a truck with AA. I'm actually thinking about quitting Apex.
Sucks that people don't get insta banned by an automated system for macroing, and configging through a 3rd party program.
What sucks the most is that this became normal and the competitive part of multiplayer is just gone
Sucks for us MNK players that have thousands of hours
1. Delete tap strafing except forward
2. Delete or make superglides consistent on mnk/gamepad + any fps
3. Let controller players move while looting (use goddamn lt and rt to swipe down and up, right stick to loot, left to move)
4. Make players choose input device b4 game, like in cod, no more controller+mnk inputs
This changes will fix most of the issues, except rewasd players
That is the real problem in this game. Macros, scripts and cfgs seem to be normalised, running rampart and theres no clear way to ban them for the moment being not at least with EAC. Then you have Respawn not even condeming the use of it which it only adds to more people using them. And i still think that Octane stim should be rework somehow to nerf accuracy while shooting.
@olegdusov4273 Superglides are consistent on any fps
The timing changes a little once you hit 100+ fps, but anyone with wnough time can get 99% consistency with superglides (can't be 100% as engine may end up registering the inputs on different frames if the frames aren't in your favor)
configs aren't third party they're enabled by a steam launch option

Ottr, can you tell me what is the best configuration for my PC to enhance the level of detail at a distance? I have a '1660 Super' graphics card, and I currently need to use low graphics settings to achieve better FPS. However, I still can't see long-range players clearly as they appear blurry on my screen. How can I improve these settings even if my frame rate isn't a stable 144 FPS?
never heard of this issue before tbh. ppl with high end pcs still run lowest settings for less input lag so i think just rely on sights

huh? Backwards lurches are hard on mnk ? it is just a simple redirect isnt it, if you combine that then with a tap strafe there you go. or am i wrong?
a simple redirect isn't going to preserve your speed as cleanly and requires a short series of inputs. with a controller steam setup you just press the direction you want to go, no redirect necessary
@@LOBOTOMYtv idk when i do redirects like that with a tap strafe it looks pretty much the same, and yes it is a few more inputs than just one button but its still not really hard to do in my opinion

I’m actually using his controller settings, spent 3 days In the firing range learning claw and getting use to the configs. The settings make movement so buttery it’s crazy. The aiming was the hardest but I recommend it

Crazy how people pay for coaches and don’t even play professionally like what’s point? I Miss the old days of gaming
Obviously I'm biased here as the coach lol but I don't think its outrageous to pay someone knowledgeable to fast track your training or help you get out of a plateau. Its fun to be good at the game even if you don't compete, and we aim for affordable prices. For example someone could decide to buy a coaching session and improve at the game rather than buy a skin that they only see in the menus. Its fine if that's not for you, but its not that crazy.

Respawn has already come out and said configs aren't cheating, macros are closer to cheating but still something everyone has the ability to use and impossible to remove from the game so you can use them too if you want or you can choose not to use them and try to out skill people who do just don't cry about it. Aim assist this and tape strafe that and oh he's config are all just cope, just simply be better at the game

Also I don't remember Respawn saying anything regarding configs, I know some washed up controller "coach" claimed that respawn told him that configing was alright.
@@sawoy4313 puff that copium man having a config that modifies the game is not inherently cheating. I do agree that macros that perform movements for you is scummy but if you have a config that drops your frames lower so you have a higher likelihood of hitting superglides because it's a 1 in 30 chance and not a 1 in 300 chance you're just using tools available to everyone to have an edge
@@calvin1715It's not a chance there's a certain frame window you have to hit to perform it, that means that people that want can actually master it or get close to mastering it, and at 60 fps if you are only hitting 1 out of 30 superglides you have a skill issue.
Also why the hell does everything have to be easy and accessible to everyone? Destroying any sort of skill gap with macros, configs and aimbot level aim assist. Using a tool that does something that you yourself wouldn't be able to do in-game is absolutely cheating and these garbage CHEATERS are doing far more than dropping their fps to hit superglides with configs and you know it. The irony of this guy pretending to be a controller movement guru while using lurch and superglide configs is hilarious but then again what would i expect from aim assist abusers. Controller brainrot has gone so far in the apex community that people are justifying MODIFYING THE GAME TO GIVE YOU AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE .
@@sawoy4313 the pros have been modifying the game since season 0 to give advantages like removing muzzle flash, aim assist is strong but if you lose to roller all the time it's a skill issue. It seems like your real beef is with console players figuring out ways to use the same movement that is available to mnk

He changed like 5 times since that, online you can find the old extessy settings, i know they saw that, and the cringe thing is they are commentating on that in a video where the settings are totally different (500/400 and ads 110/90 with 5 response curve if i remember correctly)
Im not the best player movement wise so im prideful on my aim. watching people like this makes me so sad there good at the game but use configurations to abuse an advantage.

@@taatankathe only four techs you can do on roller are superglides, wall bounces, super jumps/hyper jumps, and that off-brand tap strafe someone found 2 months ago. X uses it to tap strafe, lurch, superglide tap strafe, neo-strafe (although slower), momentum shift, pretty much everything you can think of that isn’t possible on roller he does using scripts 🤷♂️
