Hi. Great review. I picked him up at Walmart today. I was on the fence, but when I got him home, unpackaged him and put him in a dynamic pose, I was completely sold. This is such a cool and different look for Batman. Thanks for the great content!

@@JoshFromBefore the paint on the jacket was the first thing I noticed from the early images. It gave it a realistic look and I love that extra dimension that a bit of paint, dry brush, or a wash adds to the sculpt. I really appreciate that they keep experimenting with new ways to improve upon the figures, keeps it exciting. I haven't been into his movie characters for some reason none grab my attention like the comic book figures? The only one I ever grabbed was J.L. movie Flash and he definitely needed some paint. Thoughts on movie figs?
I just wish the sleeves to the jacket went all the way down to meet his gauntlets. Like a nightmare Batman.. That and if his bat symbol is full black without the yellow highlight. This is why I bought 2 to do my own custom version..

great review, I went from thinking I was going to wait for a sale on this Batman to after watching your review I went to Amazon and preordered him. I'm not crazy on much of the Future State characters but I wouldn't mind if Todd also made the Brazilian Wonder Woman that came out of this event as she's got a cool design
Huh I pre ordered Killer Croc from Walmart and it says preparing, usually they don't say that until it's about to ship, it's probably an error, they just announced him today
Walmart says it ships on 8/15 same as GameStop where I ordered. It'll hit stores a little before then maybe by a couple weeks but definitely not this early.

@@New2Kendo I just looked up all three places and they all say the same date of Aug. Can you give me a link to show otherwise. I don't know how you'd get a different date then everyone. Dorkside was actually the soonest with a July release though and everywhere else was Aug.

I'm not familiar with the storyline or whatsoever but the headsculpt is great and the overall design is something different to say the least. If I was a Kitbasher I'd probably use the gauntlets, the boots and the headsculpt for a standard batman. The rebirth batmen (both the stylized greg capullo and "neutral" style are not my cup of tea, one is too stylized and the other is underscaled), and the Three Jokers Batman has something that keeps me away, same as Year Two Batman
Batman in a trench coat is super cool the first five minutes you see it until you realize how dumb it actually looks. Hard pass for me but you like what you like

The paint on the jacket and head make him look like he's from an entire other class level next to some of the Multiverse figures, he looks expensive.
