I'm trying to move out of my parents place but because I have no rental history and don't have a job in the new area I was offering all the rent up front but no one will accept it
I’m a tenant and I keep getting turned down when saying I want to pay the entire lease up front. Reason I want to do it is because I lost my job and my credit score is bad. But landlords don’t want to because they think I’m a drug dealer and ask where I got that much money from. I show them bank statements and where the money came from but it looks impossible to get them to accept. I may end up homeless with a lot of money in my bank account.
@@totallychillgirl8072 that’s such a shame. I believe that a bigger deposit should make up for bad credit but unfortunately many landlords don’t feel that way. Hopefully you find something soon.

Mason, consider adding a co-signer to help mitigate the lack of credit history.

I’m in the same boat!
@@totallychillgirl8072 what is the landlords excuse for not accepting your money upfront?
@@dariog36th credit score. Ridiculous to me as I do have a job.
