Ever thought about keeping the ones with only cosmetic defects and selling them as a group to a local fish store? Not sure if it would be profitable but I’m one of those people that like fishes with cosmetic defects that don’t affect their health. I think they’re unique and cute!😊
@@roygbiv9038 You missed that they said cosmetic. For example dorsal fins don’t hurt the fish at all and is natural for them to have. Culling them is only for the purpose of following ranchu breed standard, not health.

Make sure Jimmy doesn't try to escape jail by jumping. I once had a fish dart and jump out of a tank with no lid. Ever since then I am EXTREMELY vigilant about leaving them for too long without a lid on the tank, like when I'm doing water changes.
How do you feel about duckweed? Have you thought about growing some to feed? I've been researching and was surprised at how much protein and nutrition it has. Also, 88 degree's?? I'd be dying in there, lol.

from what I see from other channels that have turtles you may have to help them peel those old shells they usually have trouble doing it so you may have to help peel it but don't worry if you do it gently then they will barley feel it.
