The artstyle for the demons, the twins especially, is sooo good. That last panel captures them perfectly. They seriously look like demons.
Goes to show most people got their “Power scaling wrong” due to head cannon. Zagred is still more than likely stronger than the Dark Triad INDIVIDUALLY. Although he was defeated by the 2 greatest magic users Licht and the First Emperor & Asta and Yuno, as well as Charlotteand Yami all together I’d say he still sits atop as the strongest villain so far and these next few chapters I believe are going to show and explain why. Don’t forget he was a high level demon in the same class as Lucifer and Megicula,

He was a class below. The drak triad are definitely on his level, but they are just fucking around too much. Dante lost due to being caught off guard (and because asta is basically the natural counter to devil) only.
Literally none of them have been trying yet. Even when they used like 80% (this vanica did at least once cant remember now) they keep messing eith the captains, letting them power up and show more of thier potential strength just so the fight can be more fun and are still not trying whilst holding thier own. And correct me if I'm wrong about this in particular but can't Dante and Vanica use 100%? If so that is an indicator that they are above zagred and are very OP. Pretty much as Dante stated only asta can give them real trouble. (Probably noelle too since she is learning ultimate magic)
I have no clue how Yuno is gonna be if use but if tabata follows his tradition he won't let asta over take him for one arc and give Yuno some bullshit. Such a shame. BC is the only manga where the rival gets all the BS luck and the MC's actually do legit good shit. Fuck yuno everyone else is calm tho
@Tenma Animes uhmmm... I would like to remind you that the Queen of the Heart Kingdoml LITERALLY explained that the Dark Triad are stronger than Zagred ( don't remember the exact chapter though). And the fact that Zagred is defeated by the pre time skipped black clover knights, you can clearly see the power gap between each member of the Dark Triad compared to Zagred. True that the dark Triad are unable to use 100% of their demon power but do not forget that the demons giving them power are the highest ranking one. I reckon post time skip Asta will beat Zagred mid to low difficulty ALONE.

Not really. Post time skip yami would beat zagred in a fight mid difficulty(at most) because he was stronger than 80% dante and went on par with 80% body magic dante, who is stronger than zagred, and asta will probably surpass yami in this arc in devil union
We don't know that either of these devils is higher tier/stronger than Zagrid.

@@Lackifall No Yami still can't defeat Zagred 1v1. Remember Zagred was able to take on both Lumiere and Licht while not even being at his full power yet. Yami as strong as he is now can't beat Zagred by himself. Dante at 80% isn't stronger than Zagred either. Lucifero himself 100% is, but not Dante. People fail to realize that there's a huge difference between the Dark Triad using devil powers and the devils themselves using their power.

@@jamesenaje2866 The OLD editor of Black clover revealed the next arc is going to be abroad. So potentially the Land of the rising Sun/Japan arc.
He said he was sad he couldn't be working with tabata once he gets to that arc. But yeah we know that is happening next for sure unless tabata changes things.

Cause think of it like this: we get all this talk about the tree of qliphot, lucifero being released and the world ending, and most importantly yami and vangeance dying. We thought that we won against the dark triad and stopped it but look what happened... shit hit the fan quickly. Now the first two high ranking devils have been released because morris accelerated the time it took to start the plan. And now that all this happened, you’re telling (no disrespect) that yami won’t die much less lucifero not getting released? Hell naw, yami is most likely dying and lucifero is most likely getting released.
And besides all that, which significant person really died in black clover? We thought Julius died but he survived, and fuegoleon was in a coma. Besides that, nobody significant has died. But now that that’s said, I do THOROUGHLY believe that someone WILL die in this arc. And if it’s not yami and/or william, then my next guess would have to be Nozel. The reason I say Nozel is because he most likely wants his revenge against Megicula for killing their mother, and tbh I don’t see him coming out on top of that one, much less him winning

The only inspiration that comes to mind when I see the design is astaroth, astaroth was an angel that was punished for sharing their knowledge with the humanity, their punishment was to be divided into the male part who later transformed into a Demon and the female part which was the inteligence, she was hidden in the humanity. Male astaroth wants to be one again with the female part fusing heaven's knowledge with hell's knowledge.
@CrowGa me too. I hope that yami does not end up like kite in which asta will not like it and will definitely fuck every demon up because of that.
base on Qliphoth myths, these "twins" might be inspired from Naamah(sister) and Tubalcain(brother), the sibling demons of Nehemoth, a branch of the tree of Qliphoth

That's why Tabata made the elf arc to lessen the black clovers team's power which is Julius. If Julius didnt turn into a kid, they can kill the devils so easily or will make the magic knights captain to question julius capabilties of being a wizard kind if he will lose. Ive thought multiple times with this thought too and came accross an answer. hihihi
My theory in the end while everyone is losing julius will finds a way to go back as an adult.

This chapter was crazy! Those "Top Class" Twin Devils kind of resembles Zagred a little bit and they might even be related but Lolopechka is so useless to the point where she actually ends up helping the Devils out 🤦♀️ We need Mereoleona, Dorothy and Fuegeoleon over there asap and we need Prime Julius back asap! Overall solid chapter, I give it a 9/10.

I swear the people who were put off by bc for shallow reasons such as animation and asta's voice are missing out. Tabata is honestly something else when it comes to plot twists,reveals and overall lore. Really had the whole fanbase convinced the Dark triad were just gonna get back up after getting beaten,just to do something completely different.
Zagred said that he was a high ranking devil, so what if he was a devil on the tree, and gets resurrected? His ability was kinda overpowered so maybe?
