Bro I drove my semi truck with trailer down that shit yesterday an almost shit my self I had to stop just below the viewing area an a turn off spot an rethink my life
I'm glad you added just how cautious you have to be. Growing up in the desert, and having a summer home in Anza I've personally seen at least 6 bad accidents and one fatal. Mistakes are costly on that road.
Living in Palm Springs with a 944 I run 38psi up front and 34psi in the rears to correct the slight understeer. Make the run all the way to Valle Vista then back up to Mountain Center and the new portion of the 243 back down to the 10. Avoid the helicopter ride ;)
Was driving against the sun during sunrise, will say I’ve never been more scared to drive, I literally could not see I coild only see parts of the line, i’m 15 with just a permit
Commuted 21 years from Lake Elsinore to San Juan Capistrano. Saw a lot of very bad wrecks and fatalities. The road isn't the problem it's morons who drive it!
This was a super fun road until recently, way to many people flying around the corners out of control, there's accidents almost daily now.

lmfaoo shit is scary, even scarier to think most people going up there are teens who are high or drunk
74 is the road where the opening scene of "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" was filmed.
Thank you!! I drive a 36 ft motorhome... I'll skip this hwy 😂

Nice review! I normally rode my R1 done this way. Soon I’ll be taking my Camaro up this way for the first time. Great road!
I've driven it from Hemet ; Hit snow in Idylwild
Great road
Roads like this are why I got my drivers license

I had a ride through this road, after it got dark. Scary. I am not a great driver - I have to mention.
Ran this road on an 03 hemi ram with questionable brakes and busted shocks. Sketchy to say the least.
Don't forget I here this hwy as a nasty rep for death's
