I like this kind of friendly competition so much more than the beef with Eddie
It's because top elite powerlifters are all humble. Quite a few strongman are just arrogant cunts, one being Eddie hall
This is what lifting has always supposed to have been. Eddie changed that in strongman for a bit, but hopefully his toxicity will fade as he does
Im sick and tired of Eddie and his immaturity.

@@Charlton2010 Height is the only thing he got genetically. And the taller you get, the more lanky you get if you don't work out. It's more and more difficult to fill the frame when you are taller and taller. If you don't put the work in you will end up like Bud Rogan.

I friggin' love Daniel Bells energy. His energy reminds me of that of Dimebag Darrells from Pantera. Clearly the best at what he does, but doesn't have an ounce of superiority or conceit about him. Just a lot of heart and a lot of fun. Love it!
Hafthor often plays Pantera during his training sessions.
I was one of his football coaches and neighbors when he was in high school. I can confirm that Dan is one of the nicest humans you will meet. His whole family are some of the best people you could ever meet.
That was tremendous, 2 humble strong men... superb show.
Dan is one of the nicest humans on earth. It will be fun to watch these two push each other to something incredible in the future.

a powerlifting event with both thor and daniel trying the new world record for sure will be the greatest event in the history of this sport. great job thor is doing for this sport, and for the current strongest powerlifter to ever live, finally getting the exposure he deserves!
Never seen Daniel before other than his lifts but he seems like a great dude, really looking forward to this little rivalry for the record , Thor already pulling 395 and he did 410 in his meet, I am positive he can pull 440-450 in his next meet
You have to remember it’s without straps. The grip is the fail point. I doubt he willl hit these numbers soon. This isn’t strongman. It takes a while to strengthen that grip.

It's so interesting how both Dan and Thor are great deadlifters, yet their frames and heights are so different. Really goes to show that unlike many other sports, powerlifting doesn't necessarily favor a specific body type. It's quite an inclusive sport in that regard.
