- Fellow hifiers,
In this video Nick talks us through the differences in the Mundorf and Jantzen Bi-Polar Electrolytic Capacitors (that may be used in a crossover circuit, for example) and why you might choose one over the others for your system! (or even why you may pick a combination of the lot!)

Can you Cut open the Mundorf to view the inside can ?
Can you use any lytic cap in a cross over as long as it’s the same volts and rating ?
Or do you need to use a actual cap named cross over only?
Wasnt sure if you can use any or they need to be the same :)
Hi Turkeydoodlers, no it is best to replace with an equivalent bi-polar / non-polar electrolytic capacitor!
Can somebody Please Tear down the Mundorf Silver cap & Show us all whether Mundorf Silver cap is really using Pure Silver Foil inside. Is it real or Fake ? Video Please..
🤔Pls cut it out Mundorf Capacitor MPK Alum or SilverGold crossection video have too?
What is the ESR of the typical Mundorf and Jantzen crossover electrolytic, say 10uF?
Maybe there's acap in your microphone that you need to change, pref. low esr, as the signal is very low - can't hear much really.
Cheers.
