Mink is clearly a pretty great player, it's good to see her starting to make a statement on the pro tour. I fully support all the efforts to encourage more women to start playing snooker, because there's definitely a lot of talent out there waiting to be found!

Watched this match live online - wasn't expecting it to be such a thriller! Thank you for choosing this one for your channel. I haven't even watched this video yet but I already know you've done a fabulous job of editing it :)
Fun fact: I got to watch these 2 play each other live when they came to Singapore with Ronnie in June 2022! It was for the opening of the Ronnie O'Sullivan Snooker Academy. Mink, Zhao, Ronnie and a Singaporean player Jaden Ong played a 4-person mini-tournament that spanned across 1 afternoon and 1 evening session. No prizes for guessing who won the 'title' :-)
Both started off playing below their usual standard of play,but warmed up nicely as the frames went by.Mink made some great long pots,she really came on strong.Zhao has had my attention for awhile now,he is a great player.Thanks Cesar,enjoyed this upload.✌️

Its an 9/10 pool shot, but the situation is not Common in snooker so most snooker players don't encounter this much in matches and thus, don't bother practising it. Shot that is easier for pool players than snooker players.
@@tanelihotanen3394 with the table size difference and the less forgiving middle pockets its a bit tougher, but you are right. practice is the biggest difference for that scenario
@tanelihotanen3394 It's a shot that's easier on a pool table (than a snooker table). It's not easier for pool players. The cueball wouldn't even be on a pool table (from that distance), not to mention the buckets that the middle pockets are on pool tables.

Ronnie means that Xintong needs to work on his safety play. Of course, Selby's one of the best in the trade when it comes to safety and tactics, but his style is one that is slow and boring to play unless you are very patient, and if Xintong adopted the most extreme features of Selby's game, he'd ruin his speed, incredible potting and break building ability, because he is naturally such a fast, attacking player. It's also probably very hard to play as good safety as Mark Selby.
he means that dont try to match selby's safety... bcz selby's safety is phenomenal... you just dont have to be perfect, you just have to get the idea from selby's safety that where to put the ball and the way selby makes it happen... ronnie is respecting selby, u r thinking the other way

Exactly, even the blue moved forward, meaning it just couldn't possibly been hit at the front.
What counts is where the cue ball landed on the table's bed. It wasn't on the near side of blue.
Pretty simple really, you cannot jump over any ball before contact, and you cannot jump over the first ball you make contact with,
@Feegles Despite it being a foul (according to the rules), the only place the blue could've been hit was on the front. If it wasn't hit on the front, it would've moved in a different direction.

I don't see why Ronnie O'Sullivan has such great faith in this kid Zhao Xington, nor do I believe this kid is the future of snooker or a future world Number 1 either.
Un Nooh is a far better player all round and still has plenty of potential and I think could easily be world number one someday.
Not to mention this Mink, if she would just slow down and relax and stay calm, she herself is going to be world number one someday and has the potential to be world number one in the mens division. Just a shame that she didn't beat this Zhao Xington this time but if she relaxes, I believe one day soon she will.
The only thing I don't like is why is it OK for women to play in the men's division but if men go to play in the women's division that's not ok.
That's just typical female double standards right there and completely unfair and not right and shouldn't happen on any level.

The "open" competition is the highest division available. It isn't the mens competition. Anyone can qualify for the open competition. Only women can play in the women's competition.
Agree scotthorpe as often it's discrimination against men who should be allowed to play in all tournaments.
Disagree re un noo he's very talented but just not good enough to be a World Champion. He has not achieved it yet for good reason.
Are men allowed to play in women’s tournaments? Or, maybe there aren’t any men’s tournaments? Does anyone know?
Snooker has an open series for all genders and then it has women only competitions. There are no "only men" competitions and it would make no sense anyway since about 99 of the 100 best players are men.
Women should NOT be in MEN'S snooker, Full Stop.

It's not MENS snooker. It's an OPEN competition, which means it's open to whoever qualifies.
