  • 🏠🛖🏢Psalm 91:1-2 says God is our Shelter, the place we dwell, our refuge and our fortress. It says that He is our safe place, and where we can go when we are scared. This is Great News! When we are afraid, we can trust in our strong God who is our shelter and fortress. 🏢🛖🏠___________________________________________________________________________________

-Talk to the kids about some things they might be afraid of
-Ask them about what shelter is, maybe ask them what kind of shelter they live in and ask about the different ways that their shelter protects them.
-Talk about the ways that you can think of, and then remind them that shelter helps us in many different ways, some that we don't even realize.
-Read Psalm 91:1-2 and talk about what it means that God is our shelter, refuge, and fortress.
-Talk about what it means that God is almighty and that we can trust in Him.
-Talk about what it means physically for us to spiritually run to God when we need help or when we are afraid.
-Ask the questions from the lesson and get your class to engage by responding to what they learned. Particularly, that they would be able to apply these truths to their lives.
All Scriptures were taken out to the ESV (English Standard Version) of the Bible.
