While I do think Arch scored, I can see why they didn't overturn the call on the field. What I don't understand is how they placed the ball at the 1. It should have been about 6 inches outside of the goal line, at most, and then Wisner's run would have been a touchdown.

But Texas also made a lot of mistakes the back to back false start and pre snap movements. You can’t have that many minor self inflicted wounds as the number one team. But I will say to look that sloppy in the first and still have such a one sided win says alot about how talented this Texas team really is.

Gents, as always, I love your takes. Many of the Holds were a bit 'ticky-tack,' the one against Gunnar in particular, but I also felt like that officiating crew missed a ton of personnel fouls from Miss State's side. Overall, their guys were a bit classless on the field and off with a lot of jawing at Texas players, 'celebrating' after plays despite never being close. I hope Lebby will curtail that and not encourage it like some coaches do.

You will not survive on only the deep ball and Arch doesn't have the intermediate passing game perfected yet with crossing routes and check downs. AR will be great but right now Ewers is way more experienced with the entirety of the playbook and he's been there and done it on the field.

I always thought it was very frustrating to defend the Leach spread offense because he didn't hesitate to pass the football on 3rd and 2, etc., and then go for first downs on 4th and whatever. We ain't playing a bunch of powerhouses or top ranked teams. Michigan keeps winning which makes our win look that much better. But have to destroy georgia in 3 weeks. Other than that really don't see us getting that 1 spot back. Other top ranked teams play tougher ranked opponents vs us...after georgia...only other ranked team I think will be Kentucky and that games along ways away
In my opinion no SEC team is going undefeated, too much parity and the goal is not to be ranked #1 during the season, it's to make the College football playoffs.Get there and win the Natty, the SEC is brutal and the season is longer pump the breaks.
@jamese9434 ur right and your wrong. All teams want that 1 spot so you get that 1st round bye. I agree that there might only be 1 team undefeated. But that bye week could help or hurt anyone.

Texas is so overrated, Im a huge fan but you have to look at the teams they have beaten. They have not played any good teams, until Georgia. Georgia on the Money line was free money. I was hoping to lose my bet.
