@@JupiterVA you’re not wrong. Biologically, hormone cycles are dictated by cell growth and death (which basically that’s what menstruation is). So we are either immortally young and our cells are frozen or the hibernation just pauses/slows it down so much so that our body doesn’t replace anything (since we follow the dragon’s life and magic).
Okay so I don't know if you're doing a part 4 BUT if you are interested I have an idea, so while the dragon is away someone somehow gets listener back to the castle but listener loves dragon so they run away and end up getting hurt/in danger, and dragon saves them :) just a suggestion nothing more
