  • Renowned translator and scholar, Ken McLeod describes the three primary levels or types of spiritual teacher-student relationship in Tibetan Buddhism. In this commentary, Mr. McLeod makes key distinctions about the types of maturity and emotional energy underlying each relationship that can provide useful direction on the path.     Ken McLeod received traditional training mainly in the Shangpa Kagyu lineage through a long association with his principal teacher, Kalu Rinpoche, whom he met in 1970. He is the author of Wake Up to Your Life and a commentary on the Heart Sutra called An Arrow to the Heart.

    Thanks for the upload. Could you please write in your comments at least the year the videos you post were taped? thank you so much. It appears to me that this one is from the 1990s. Still good though.
