    Farrah most definitely showed her strength and backbone when she shut Bobbie's line of questioning down around her broken marriage. RIP Farrah.

    Farrah had the look that defined the 1970s, when I think of that decade I always think of her. The mane of wavy sun kissed hair, big white smile, turquoise eyes and tanned healthy glow, the toned yet slim figure. She had such a lovely voice too and a gentile, southern kind of femininity, Strong where it counts though, and good for her for standing her ground on keeping her private life private.

    It's not just the hair, teeth or smile. Farrah's sweetness is unparalleled in Hollywood. She kept her voice soft even when asked uncomfortable questions 👼

We have the same kind of hair just different colours. There's just so much to like about her. I can see why Ryan was trying to keep him for himself. He did write a book in 2012 Both of Us. I'm going to listen to it now. 😊

      I think part of it is Farrah was one of the biggest stars on the planet in 1979, and the break-up of the marriage was huge news, so Bobbie was looking for a scoop in an uncharacteristically aggressive manner. It was great to see Farrah hold her ground.

      @@slc2466 yes it is! You can tell she’s very sort of not really happy! For her not to be smiling says allot about her state of mind at this time! God bless her heart! It’s hard to be happy at a time like thst! She said she was doing it for the product. It’s sad that she felt pressured to do this when she didn’t feel at her best! Farrah was a very beautiful woman. I’m sure sitting across from her is intimidating cause you want to be as beautiful as Farrah is!

    I have never seen this. Part of what was going on behind the scenes was Arron Spelling black listing Farrah for departing "Charlie's angels" after the the first season. Farrah said she was no under contract mostly due to the fact Spelling said he had the rights to Farrah's famous swim suit poster which sold over 12 million copies and remains today the highest selling poster sales wise. After that huge success every actress in town started a poster campaign there for a long time. The Cherly Ladd, Sue Somers, Loni Anderson etc... Farrah did that poster a year before "Charlie's angels" and she a lone owned the rights. Frrah was no dummy and Spelling decided he wanted the rights so no contract was signed thus she exercised her right to no continue on "Charlie's angels". Spelling in turned sued Farrah and vowed she would never work in Hollywood. He had a lot of power and was NOT a very nice person. He felt he made her a star. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't but Farrah made that show a gigantic hit that first year. She was everywhere and eclipsed but Jacklyn Smith and Kate Jackson . Farrah wanted to capitalize on that instant fame and do films. The film choices maybe were not the best but she eventually did break out of that Barbie doll pin up beauty in "The burning bed" where she truly proved herself as an actress. Other challenging roles came after that. 2 Emmy nominations but no win's. I am sorry but she was fantastic in "The burning bed" and should have won the best actress Emmy that year. So often non deserving actress win Emmy's. It is rare truly deserving people win Emmy's. Farrah was robbed of one that year.

    • @lorimiller4301

      Yes, they purposefully kept her from successful endeavors for the rest of her life. She could've done much more and won much more but she made some powerful enemies by wanting to be her own person. A man wouldn't have been treated like that. It's a shame how her life went but like she said she wouldn't change anything. She did what she wanted to do.
      I can't imagine the devastating blow that catching Ryan with Leslie on Valentines day must've been. She was 50 years old, Leslie was 25.
      Ryan had all the doors locked but he forgot about the garage door opener. She found them and all she did ask her her name, I believe she grabbed her Andy Warhol painting and left. What class.

    I've always loved Bobbie's interviews and consider her a real pro. This interview, however, was a disaster. Since when did Bobbie decide she was a gossip monger? She's an entertainment reporter! It was cringeworthy how she wouldn't back off when Farrah respectfully asked her to. I've watched dozens of Bobbie's interviews and this one was by far the worst one.

      @Christian_Ada1 2 роки тому +1

      You guys need to research. She was wearing extensions in season 3 and in season 4
      I didn't say she was bald she just added more volume to her hair.
      Go take a look at the Oscars she was definitely wearing extensions.
      And you guys need to realize that she signed a contract when she started selling her faucet shampoos she was not allowed to say she was wearing extensions other words people would not be buying her shampoo. Sane thing with her teeth. She was wearing caps. Hollywood is all about fakery and imagery to sell products and collectibles
      I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's the truth.
