There are plenty of reasons why we need to be a strong hand on an international level, here are some of the
*1. To protect our people's interest*
> We have seen many countries not take their interest due to the hegemony of the US and West on the issues like Ukraine & Gaza conflicts.
> Countries could not buy Russian oil just because all the oil tankers and insurance companies were controlled by Western countries.
> We have seen how US kick out Iran and Venezuela from the oil market and India forced to buy energy requirements from other players with higher prices
*2. To negotiate better deals like FTA with other parties in a fever of our people's interests.*
The question is what kind of superpower we are trying to become?

An interesting dialogue. It informs us of the current situation, and building on it, I have just three suggestions:
1. Rebrand, “make in India” to “make for India”
2. In place of doing a cast census, do a skill census
3. When offering welfare schemes, construct a balance between “basic welfare = direct benefit” + “empowerment projects”; with a view to progressively reduce direct welfare so empowerment replaces benefits. Let’s focus on vocational training
My addition to the list:
4. India should also make for the world to explore its full potential, but the first step should be to become Aatmanirbhar and manufacturing would help a lot in pulling away 40 crore people who are stuck in farming (due to very less skills) and this would also increase female workforce participation.
5. Do surveys of colleges and institutions and find colleges and institutions which are not upto the mark and are just to give false hopes and worthless degrees and should ban such colleges and institutions or give them chance to update. The Govt. should constantly keep looking for such institutions and colleges and should take serious action against them.
6. The government should focus on educating the poor and illiterate parents and families on things like family planning, appropriate diet, nutrition requirements, diseases, etc., so that future of the country (the kids) are fine and capable.
7. The Govt. should use all the money being spent on freebies and should use it to provide free and quality education (and not like education being given in states like Bihar, where teachers are elected not on the basis of merit) and teach them various real-life skills, so that they become independent and an asset for the country and does not depend on freebies.
8. Update the legal system of the country, so that it becomes better accessible to the citizens and then only rules and laws would be followed.

Raghuram Rajan was the professor of economics at University of Chicago after that he was the 7th Chief economist and head of research at IMF. In 2005 Rajan in a conference predicted the financial crisis on america and gave some solutions to prevent that the US Treasury secretary then insulted Rajan and denied his predictions but Rajan's predictions were proven right in 2008 financial crisis there was a documentary made on the crisis called Inside Job in 2010 and he was interview do see that. He was also the CEA to India and RBI governor

@@AbhishekSingh-cj3oo To kya tujhe kam number pe bhartia chahiye? Kya awaaz uthani hai? Reservation ka use bhi karna hai aur samjhna bhi nahi hai k cutoffs calculate kese hoti hai. SC and EWS seats pe logo k kam number aaye honge YA OBCs ka paper bhut accha gaya hoga YA OBCs ki bheed jyada hogi.
Asal me tum logo ko reservation se mtlb nahi hai, asal mtlb "kam numbero pe, bina padhe likhe, dimaag ka istema nal kare" bhartiya chahiye. Tum logo k community me jisko vakai reervation ki zaroorat hai, usko bekar gali sunwa rha hai.

It has hard to find extended interviews now a days that too which usually equal the duration of a movie. But I must say that watching this episode and most of the other interviews, the the experience has been very engaging, intellectually stimulating and knowledgeable. Congratulations to Lallantop and its team.
For this particular interview, firstly Kuldeep ji you have done a commendable job. You have moderated it exceptionally well. The interventions were very precise and neutral and your temperament throughout the episode was spot on. Secondly listening to Raghu sir has always been a knowledgeable experience. Can't believe on this RaghuRam anymore because he was the one who said that "India is very close to Hindu rate of growth (i.e. 3-4%)". What he meant by this statement was that "India would be stuck in this growth rate for a long period and not just 1 or 2 year", but India proved him quite wrong. Today, India is growing almost twice that of his prediction (i.e. 7%) and showing the resilience of the Indian Economy under this Govt.
