Dude I was planning to make a video like these since no one made any taking about the lunching styles and their pros and cons but I’m glad you did
Also with the klitchko punch style you should’ve mentioned how the heavy straight is probably the worst since it ends at a downward motions and rarely hits. Also I agree with the Frazier style probably being the best and how tysons left hook is horrendous and that only throwing an overhand hook is the only way to make it better without leaving you open lol

Thought of an idea you could and it’s about arm reach and which reach makes a certain punch more effective/damage like if straights and jabs really do get more damage with a longer reach

In comments I saw somebody wanted punch packages video and I'm glad you made it. It's amazing how much variety is in the game. Too bad Ufc stances don't change anything and techniques are almost all the same

@@2020mademeagamer in ufc you can pick a posture for your fighter (from real fighters) but it doesn't change the way you strike or anything and you have no strike packages. Fight night looks so great I have to buy it

A good starter option is speed, Chavez and frasier. They work best in conventional/boxerpuncher roles which are definitely best to start as, they both fight steady with a mix of single punches and small combos to really chip away at opponents but dont have that brute strength insiders and brawlers have, bit do alot better against counter punchers than those two.

@@wori_ishim Ali punches is probably the single worst punch set you can equip, sure you can make it work but if you want that "ali" playstyle I find it's better to use the foreman, pacquiao, haye, speed or even Klitschko punch sets. Each has far more reliable jabs n straights with my personal fav being foreman and Pacquiao, but I find Pacquiao lunging body hooks to be bad and the foreman set has really tricky uppercuts 2 head but they hit hard as well. I feel like unconventional style is the best for a true ali build but you're gonna be squishier than if you stuck with outside fighter. The benefits are few but unconventional has great head movement, speed,decent strength and fights well anywhere the ring as long as you dish more than you take. It's most useful for low and mid level OWC because a 84 unconventional will have better stats than a 84 brawler or 84 inside fighter. As long as you run gold toughness, avoid lots of body shots, practice head movement and footing you'll have a build that can fight anybody, play defensive against brawlers with counterpunches or play super aggressive against outside fighters and chip them away with body powershots. Biggest threat is conventional or but they are rare, if you do fight one try and secure the stam advantage early or go for KO, otherwise a good conventional fighter will outlast you with very similar stats. Inside fighters are hard as well because they'll always outpunch you and last as long but tend to have glass chins. Hope this helps but lemmie know if you were wondering something else.

SO GLAD I found this video I’ve been using ALI style and my record is 105-50 losses I always wondered why my jab wasn’t connecting 🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️ can’t believe I’ve been doing this without a real jab basically gonna switch to Frazier or speed since my fighter is 6’2 middle weight with 82 reach great video !

@@kenfromstreetfighter3432 if you using pac man go with straights from distance. It comes out fast af. If you’re doing hooks I think Frazier has better tracking but speed let’s you combine hooks the fastest 👌🏾
Awesome video as always 💯, quick question i made a a charcuterie for legacy mode and i picked a brawler, and i found two punch styles to pick from which is power and speed, I don't know why but im leaning more towards power cause i like using the right stick and he has these punches that curves over which seems like he slips through the opponents guards, i also likthe speed too, which of those two would be your personal preference

I personally like david hayes punch sets the left hook is really good the right cross is really good you cover some much ground with it
I got hooked on the distance the strait covered but honestly i won more fights when i switched to Pacquiao.
I think the pac man one is a bit quicker

One thing tho with the Chavez style is it's by far best with boxer punchers or conventional fighters. While leading with the left hook is trash a iab into left hook is super effective especially since chaves body and head hooks have similar wind ups, ppl might sway thinking ur punching high. If you use a good mix of body and head hooks its one of the best styles out there.
The body hook has range but its pretty slow
what do you recommend for inside boxer?
I always pick Frazier's for my main CAB. Also, a missing note for Frazier's is his lead overhand, it's very fast.

No clue if you’ll see this. But how do you get Marciano’s style? I have him unlocked but can’t make his style playable for other fighters
DLC unique stances are unique to their characters. You can switch their stances to other stances but you can’t put theirs on someone else whether it be another fighter or a created character

I'm glad I seen this. Ali has the worst jab and that's not even how his jab was. I stopped playing with him cause he jabs dont connect which you said was a ghost like punch, he straight barely connects. Tommy hearns is the best outside fighter on the game
I picked up the game late so idk how it was like in the EARLY stages i seen some forums say ali got HEAVY nerfed. Literally can't land anything unless you're fighting someone bad or you got the momentum
@@2020mademeagamer idk how much patching they did to him cause his jab is horrendous. That's the only thing that gets to me. But i found a way to land the jab by starting with the lead right first and then the jab

There is a bug with the Ali style that leads to punches not connecting. Idk what causes it, but someone told me to use Paquiao style if it happens cuz it is similar

Foreman is absolute garbage in this game. No stamina whatsoever and moves like a slug. Very hard to do well with him unless you’re playing a noob who has no idea what he’s doing.
It depends. If you do well with him you can’t use his uppers but his hooks not bad. I don’t use him though he don’t hit hard enough 🥹
