Diksha is a more difficult path to follow and is not a escape from responsibilities. Also it is done only after permission from family as well as after making someone as guardian for the family.

I am not a jain but I know Jainism has evolved from Hinduism itself..The path to moksha is not easy but people are not even ready to abandon luxuries that they are habitual of you are renonuncing your loved ones..It really needs a lot of guts 🙏May Lord Mahavira bless you

@@avikal_kothari : Not to hurt your sentiment bt jainism started back in 599-527 BC Nataputta Mahavira. Histrory of Sanatan Dharam is way older than that. The first religion on earth was Sanatan. And the way you say "Hinduism not at all!", first know hindusim is an art of living and Sanatan is the dharam. And Sanatan was not started by anyone because it is the dharam and true representation of God. People have many mis-understanding about Sanatan Dharam and all thanks to the TV and Drama along with Google. Better get the correct knowledge.
I love watching these diksha videos as I understand leaving family and modern lifestyle is not easy and that too in young age but I really didn't expected people in jainism also have hatred to Sanatan Dharam despite being a part of it.

This sure isn't easy. Not for family & nor for the person doing it. But these are chosen ones and if they have made informed choices to seek peace & go into divine's retreat. I am not Jain but few videos I've seen on deeksha makes me think what comes to their hearts & soul to leave everything behind. It's not everyone's cup of tea. But the little I know and have asked my Jain friends that it's not for everyone. Hence they buildup and prepare months ahead to take deeksha 🙏

That's a fair question, but look at it though the other side, by spending lakhs u attract more people to attend the ceremony, and even if 2-3 people on attending this, develop feelings to renounce worldly pleasures and take deeksha it's worth it.
No celebration happens for free.

I am not a jain but I can definitely say that sometimes people just follow their soul's calling.. It is an innate deep desire... You never know they could have reincarnated on earth just to fulfil this purpose in their life... As long as people are doing it willingly and have no problem with it and no pressure.. Let people act as per their consciousness
