Wow, I feel so lucky to watch someone so genuinely excited about robots! Your fun and charming personality made this such an engaging and thought-provoking learning experience. Exploring the idea of cubes as robots is fascinating-it’s probably the most innovative take on modern robotics I’ve seen, aside from Sophia and those inflatable plastic tube robots. Thank you for sharing this-it was truly inspiring!
3D origami is something I've never thought is useful for robotics.. im a robotics engineer and i really appreciate that y'all uploaded the seminar to the Internet
Absolutely foundational work in this field! Very well presented too. Could be groundbreaking in terms of modularity and scalability, but she made some valid points about the energetic cost. If there were a way to streamline communication between unit cells, maybe the transformations required of individual cells could be minimized in real-time. Something along the lines of a machine learning approach would be a neat way to teach voxel networks to predict the transformative path of least resistance.
Way before I learnt about Klein Bottles I remember using the waterbomb base to make a pompfret 😅 People are applying modern math to origami and this is exactly what we should be doing. Nature already has the math we needn’t invent new math, we just need formalize it (rather try to contain such singularities)
@sylvesterstillalone1 In india teachers are not teachers they are businessman first they don't want that every student do well in their life and make their family proud. Cause they know if students gets successful in their life then how we (teachers) can earn. They have multiple sources of income like online courses+books +yt income + their own applications etc. but they contiuesly follow their business not their teachings professions. India is different what it looks from outside indian education system is ripped. teachers have millions of dollars cars and theirs students have only hope to get a government job in this currepted country. 💀
I didn't have an energetic teacher in My education life.
She is really energetic and speaks fluently.
Thank you Standford family and cofer.

Her voice is very annoying.
