Thank you! It is very hit and miss finding decent stuff now. Highstret shops like the BHF used to be a gold mine but these days they flog cheap new crap on the whole. It's sad. House clearance places are the best bet it seems.
Cash converters is alive and well 😂 I like my pioneer units but do love my bose as well. I've never had audio as loud and clear as bose apart from clarion
Nice little retro set up, especially those Dentons. Good find. I never find anything so interesting at our local charity shops.

@RichieRouge206 we have a BHF near us, in fact 2 of them and same, just sell junk in terms of hifi gear.
Wharferdale make great speakers, massively under-rated for what they are
They do indeed, particularly in their heyday back in the 60s and 70s
Neat setup man. Seen a few denton and linton 2XPs for ages now on ebay and always been curious to what they are like.
They're lovely speakers, more mid-range orientated rather than bass/treble
@RichieRouge206 I guess thats what I should have expected. Had a pair of beovox S45-2s that matched that sound description as well.
The sound volume appears better aligned now with both music and voice levels now. Oveur
Brilliant- love the feedback! What's your vector, Victor? 🤣
Was there any fans there😊
Nope apart from one generic white crap one. It varies, sometimes there are none, others there can be some real gems
@RichieRouge206 Very true , i bought a blue ice 6 inch Desk fan from there

Yes we have 'Cashies' here but they're not as popular. The place I go to is like a Home For Humanity store lol
