Spicy Crappie Catch and Cook from the Kayak (Ultralight Fishing)

In June, 2024, I fished for crappie from my kayak. I used an ultralight rod and caught many crappie and bluegill on a trout magnet jig head and a 1 inch Gulp Alive! Minnow, as well as on chartreuse and pink Trout Magnet 1 inch bodies.
I only caught one crappie of keeper size (over 9 inches in Ohio) but took it home for dinner. I coated it in Louisiana Cajun breading and used Frank's Red Hot as a binder. This made for a slightly spicy, very flavorful, and super crispy end product. Delicious!
