Gretta always the absolute Queen in the space, she shared so many tips over the years. About the closing part, regarding perfectionism; totally agree BUT it also depends on what’s your target avatar market. If one’s aiming with a premium product, can’t really half ass much of the building blocks there. Surely presentation and quality of the product must be absolutely perfect.
Great content, Greta has inspired me SO much and this summer I'm finally launching my matcha brand! Question: I've thought about partnering up with an influencer and giving her equity, but how should one decide what percentage of equity is reasonable to offer in exchange for posts? It's very difficult to predict the outcome. Very broad question I know but would appreciate any insights. PS: I disagree with you regarding "if you're not embarrassed by the first version of your product you're launching too late." I believe this is true for a service/software business because you can tweak the code in like an hour. But for a DTC brand with products (with potential MOQs of 2,000 units), you really don't want to be embarrassed by that product when you launch to market and invest in marketing - in my opinion :)
In my humble opinion and little experience, it’s not just a question of equity percentage. But you gotta find a candidate who is believing wholeheartedly AND he/she also needs to PAY a share to be part of the business. Making posts is not enough, if it’s just that then this person shouldn’t have any equity.
@@bztrd80yes that’s a very good point and I agree with you… without skin in the game the person most likely won’t be very invested long term !! thank you so much for the comment 😊
@@WorldOfEmm No problem! Just chatting ideas.. I also believe that there must be a serious sit down where both parties discuss the who does what. Unless the ambassador is a true celebrity (online and off line) and it's a true pro, otherwise i hardly believe an influencer would want to do this "forever" and it will work forever. So basically prepare right from the beginning a contract drawing down what he/she is gonna do once it's played out. I think this person must also have other valuable characteristics, who knows, maybe she's a great HR? Or she's good with numbers/CFO?
