This is something I don't trust the Weapon Banners...EVER. Atleast the Standard Weapon have mercy on me. Since I got 1 Wolf Gravetone, 3 Jade Spear and 1 Amos Bow

Normal players don't expect their summons to get anything 5 star at random from their pulls, it keeps ones expectations in check but also makes suprises all the better, i know it does for me.

you’re completely right…it’s an amazing feeling getting the character/weapon you want with your hard earned wishes, but when you spend money to get it, it just doesn’t feel the same. my first ever banner I whaled on xiao. it made me feel yucky and i’ve regretted it ever since. that was the first and last time I spent money on a banner.

Sayu is worth building up as a healer! Even at L70 with some dusty artifacts, she heals so well. She's a perma part of my exploration team now and my 2nd preferred healer (first being c6 barbara, an absolute legend)
I didn’t have any of the 4 featured characters and pulled them back-to-back on four 10 pulls: Diona, Sayu, Thoma, then Hu Tao. Efficient, I like it!
I did 115 pulls and didn't get one Sayu. I think I got 5 Thomas and 2 Dionas tho, which I am fine, Sayu will come eventually.
I did 50 pulls and got c3 diona, c3 sayu, c1 thoma, c0 hu tao
Legit same except I lost 50/50 for diluc, got thoma, diona, sayu, and ended up with Hu tao using just 45 wishes. 3 new pyro units added to the roster :D

Teccy released a "worst pulls ever" too. I must have stolen all y'all's luck because I got Elegy bow at 9 pity, then Homa at 31 after that. And two Hu Taos within 50 pulls. Can't believe my luck.

Bro, this is the fastest pulls i've done, 7 on Hutao and 5 on Homa lol. That's 2 years worth of luck down the drain.
So i wished on both banners as an f2p - I got 2 hutaos 1 mona in 40 pulls and 70 pulls staff of homa and elegy for end. That means i also have guaranteed next 5 star

The 46 base atk on Skward Blade is pretty nice tho for bennet and you don't have to sacrifice ER on him

Yeah compared to jade cutter, it is better with higher base ATK and ER for bennet
But energy is not a problem for bennet tho, especially if he is c2. Aquilla is better, and ever since mitsplitter was released, Skyward is equal or worse to a 4* weapon
@@oxovly4455 @Oxyplayz 123 Energy isn't a problem for bennet, but having the energy is nice for maintaining perma uptime on his ult especially if you aren't playing perfect rotations. I myself run skyward blade and 300% ER and against enemies like Maguu Kenki that don't give any energy when you drop their health, even 300% doesn't feel enough. It's true that aquilla is better for overall damage, but skyward is practical. And the release of mistsplitter doesn't make skyward worse. Skyward is a "support " weapon to begin with.
@@lejaronbames8569 Skyward blade was my 2nd 5* weapon, its compatibility with Bennet is great imo as well. Having permaburst compensates the lower atk buff it gives compared to Aquila.
I did about 36+ wishes on the character banner at 50+ pity and I got, a C0 Thoma, 3 Dionas, a Sacrificial Bow, a Bennett, and a C4 Mona (which now I have a guarantee Itto which is really nice), then after that I got the Blackcliff Pole from the shop for Hu Tao or Thoma.
And honestly MTashed you don't have to be a whale or a dolphin, you could be a welkin or BP player instead, but it's your choice though. ^ ^

thats rough man i lost the 50/50 after grinding so hard, so I know what its like to have bad summons. Im not saying that I had the worst pull but good luck for anyone else trying to pull.

Same here, and the worst part is, the game made me wait for the Guaranteed Wish. I used up 90 wishes and I didn’t even get Hu Tao.

Even if I lost to qiqi I won't mind because I don't have her if I get her below 50 pity. But I would get frustrated to lose 50/50 after going to 90 pity.

The weapon banner is the best and the worst summon i got r5 fin winbreaker and r5 sacrificial and elegy and not homa I'm on 52 wish if I get it will become the best

true up to a point. Eventually you have more good characters than you know what to do with and getting pretty much ANY 5 star weapon becomes a much bigger power boost than getting yet another 5 star character. At that point the weapon banner becomes worth it. This weapon banner is particularly good with both weapons being really good and both being limited (not on standard banner), which I think is a first.

I feel your pain. I got extremely lucky on the character banner as I got hu tao, thoma, sayu and c6 diona within the first 36 pulls. But as soon as I hit the weapon banner… damn, my well-saved 12k primos went straight to the garbage :’(

hey Mr.Tashed, in terms of the skyward blade, I actually prefer it on Xingqiu over sac sword, even with refinements.
Just build him with high ER, over 220% is enough for me, and use 4 piece Emblem. Absolutely Cracked damage, no need for sac sword, and good use for your new 5 star weapon.
I also got Sayu on Raiden's weapon banner. It was awesome : D And I completely love her
Me and my friend both pull weapon banner with 60-70 ish wishes, he got 1 sac sword. I got 7. He got Staff of Homa, I got Staff of Homa, and 2 Elegy.

I got Hu Tao on my 30th pull
(3 -10 pulls) and Staff of Homa on my 40th pull.
Same, I got her at 34 pulls and won 50/50, I still have a lot of gems but I’m scared to go for homa bc I feel like I can’t get that lucky again lol

i feel your pain xD. i wasted 40 wishes on sayu the previous banner ended up on like 70-something wishes and knew i was pushing my luck to not get the 5star fire bow chick. this time around i did 20 wishes got both sayu and toma... the gatcha system is a love hate relationship. now i just want my eula.
I've been playing around with Thoma and he kinda feels a bit 'meh' at the moment, so you're not missing out on much. He might prove to be decent over time as more people figure out how best to use him, but right now he's a bit underwhelming.
Sayu, on the other hand, is fun as hell!! You should try her out in the trial! They paired her up with Xiangling and Kaeya, and rolling around with both of their bursts active causes absolute CARNAGE! Throw in another off-field sub DPS like Shogun or Fischl, and Sayu becomes a rolling ball of death! She's immense!
Thoma is good on a hu tao team and probably nowhere else

I tip I got from this guy is to set the epitomized path to the opposite weapon. He did it for Jade Cutter and I did for Polar Star. Aside from that, the Skyward blade was pretty darn copium kek

i found a method to use if you want to whale but you also want to have the joy of pulling a character, if you only spend money when you have to win a 50/50 or stop spending after one rotation there is still the feeling of pulling something you want while still managing to get something

Mtashed I just recently discovered this I hope this could be help to you, When people buy stuffs in Coda shop for some reason PlayStation doesn't pick anything up from that store meaning if someone gifts you a Welkin Moon you can just play in PS4 and get on with your day even the Crystals works that way too
I wished for Staff of Homa, got two Elegy's and neither counted toward my Epitomized Path so I also didn't get my Staff. Then I contact Mihoyo and they tell me I deactivated the path a literal second after I activated it and proceeded to do nothing about it. Love this game.

the pain is real, but this shows that you cannot win them all! I agree with your take, solving every issue with money might *impact* your enjoyment, but I think getting c0 5* and showing them off with a budget build is the way to go.

I was about 70 pity when i manage to dodge hutao and get thoma- i feel so happy because that was my last pull and before him i got a diona
I just had the best summon session as F2P. Only did 30 pulls out of the 60 I had. First 10 pull got Hu Tao and Thoma, second 10 pull went to the weapon banner and got Homa, and 3rd 10 pull got Sayu. Now saving up the rest for Ayaka’s rerelease banner. I’m so happy right now

So here's my very recent wish luck:
on the banner pulls yesterday i got Sayu with C3 additional, Thoma and another Widsith across 5 10 pulls then literally less than 2hrs ago i got Bennett(bought him from the store after banner pulls) C1, Kaeya C2 and Wolfs Gravestone from the standard wish. I'm feeling blessed atm but as a f2p player with basically no resources to level up what i just got i'm already feeling the pain of a 4 month resin farm grind...
I get the feeling you wish to whale and secretly have fun with each character without constellation even. However you are worried people will not like it
