I have seen people using beast mode with no success but i have not seen anyone showing double ground balance with a settings change, the DT seems to work a little better been raining here will try and test tomorrow
Your first target right off the bat killed my recent totlot search I counted my pulltabs today, around 550 normal pulltabs and 63 beaves, 1 tear drop tab, and a few square tabs and small hole hornet tabs, paystreak says the tear drop tabs are rarer than gold rings, at least in his area, I have found 2 total but the first one was before I started collecting pulltabs so it ended up in the trash
Wow that's a lot of pull tabs. You have more patience than me to count them all lol. I'm sure my numbers are up there too lol. My first ever target was a pull tab and I still have that one somewhere lol
@@TheTexanDetector awesome, do you have one of the expensive diamond testers or the $20 ones, I was looking at a $20 one but I don't know if it's any good when I also saw one for like $100 or something, I'd like to get a tester too, I have a tungsten ring I found that I'm pretty sure has a real diamond because it's from an expensive company, but I'm not 100% sure
@digginggopher I have a cheaper one i think it was like $28 on amazon lol. So far though it has been really accurate. I was looking at it and with out my sunglasses on it sure looks gold. I have an acid test out in the man cave I was going to test it later, but I figured hey my diamond tester is right here lol. The good thing about the expensive ones is you can replace the little tester part. Can't think of what its called off the top of my head.
Random question, in your state, does it prohibit you from metal detecting in to lots when they are occupied? I see so many people avoid them when there’s people there and I’m not sure if that’s just for practicality or laws. I know if I make the effort to drive over to a lot and there’s kids there I’ll try to stay away from them, but eventually they’ll flock over to me and then it gets really fun because they do my digging And so long as I share the rewards, they’re usually delighted to hang out and learn. Any jewelry goes to me though. Lol typically if there’s just a few kids, I’ll let them wear the headphones so they can hear what I hear and let them swing the detector. Although much rather hunt on my own, without my little assistance.
No there isn't any rules or laws that i know of that keeps you from detecting the tot lot if they are occupied. There are two main reasons I normally won't detect the tot lot if they are occupied. One it only takes one person to complain. People these days are crazy never know what they might say and i wouldn't want my parks to ban metal detecting. Second I'm normally recording and youtube has a lot of rules about having kids in your videos.
@@TheTexanDetector well that completely makes sense. I have a strong feeling I’m the only one that detects in my local parks seems like if you live in Miami you’re on the beach Detecting. I don’t really care for beach Detecting because there are so many Detectorists out there. And I didn’t even think about recording videos but that definitely makes good sense. Yeah I used it a lot later this day. Not impressed with it at all. The DT feature is great, but beast mode let's just say is no beast by any means lol
