While I never have been to Szeged the addition of the tram-train is a cool and unique addition within Hungary. It is quite a smart solution by the city as the buses running between Szeged and Hódmezővásárhely were becoming very full. Hopefully one day I’ll get to explore Szeged and its wonderful transport system.

TBH I kinda didn't realize Hungary had more tram cities outside of Budapest (guess I just don't think about Hungarian transit that often) , and this is a really cool one. From the Central European countries Germany also has a tram train system in the Karlsruhe area, would be an interesting video idea too maybe :)

Hungary has even more cities with tram and trolleybus systems too. It might not be super extensive networks, but there’s more than only Budapest for sure.
Karlsruhe is interesting for sure, especially of their more extensive use of tram-trains 😁 But who knows, maybe some Central European cities might follow suit. Szeged’s tram-train has only been opened in 2021.

@@realdronthego I did notice the tram train rolling stock looks very nice and modern, makes sense with it being a new concept to Szeged

True, but it fits in with other modern trains of the Hungarian Railways (MÁV), who have bought a lot of Stadler’s products. Especially FLIRTs and KISSes😁

You've chosen the wrong time for it. @@realdronthegoon certain occasions you could see, use some old-timers too.

@@realdronthegoI would also love a video on Szeged, Miskolc and Debrecen’s tram and trolleybus systems respectively.

Trying to mimic Google Translate 😁 But to be honest, it takes quite some tries. The Czech “Ř” is the worst 😂
