I’d check how the shop grounded the pump, I’ve had no issues, and you’re more likely to REALLY burn something up. An 8amp draw popping a 10amp fuse is showing you there is either a poor ground circuit causing excessive draw or a short. Gl fam.
If the 10amp is oem I’d worry about that circuit catching fire with the bigger fuse. Fuses are safety devices that keep wires from catching fire. I’d check your system ground maybe add a ground to the circuit and see if the pump pulls less amperage.
I've had a Stage 2 Whipple on mine for 15k miles not any pump issues, my reservoir did pop the top but Whipple overnighted me a brand new one, this dude should've check his fuse from jump lol
