You are such a lifesaver.. I have 14 milk cartons that I was given from Michael's Craft store and I needed one more so I found you.. I had to pause you a lot but now I can make my own.. Yay.. Thank you for these directions.. I am making Valentine's treats for our Neighbor's kids since they won't be having parties at school because of the you know what.. so I wanted to make them all feel loved and special..
Hi Sam, I just made one with you, I ballsed up my measurements by a mm. Still super happy with mini milk carton, I used a rose floral paper, made 3 retro flowers with pearls for the centre and I covered my mini clothes peg with same paper, plus I added Wink of Stella, looks lovely. Thank you so much for the inspiration & tutorials you share xoxo
Thank you soooo much Sam, I love the mini milk cartons but have never been able to bring myself to spend the money on the die. In Australia it sells for $56 with Stampin Up. There is so many other gorgeous things to choose for my $56 than buying a die I won't use often. Off to make these for Easter for my family. Adorable. TFS Wendy
Oh Sam! This is so great! Thank you for sharing this. I almost ordered the mini-milk carton die from SU just now. Thank God I watched your video first. You just saved me some money, lol! Thank you, thank you! I will have to case this if you don't mind, but will give you credits on the video.
Hi Sam, all your works are so adorable. Am from india and i have tried few of your projects for my LO 1st birthday giveaway....Got a lot appreciation from everyone, they all loved it!!!! Thank you!!!!! God Bless!!!
very nice.Closing the top would also look great with one of the paper clips that matches your paper and buttons from that collection. I love my mini clothes pins!
I have a die that does this box from Stampin' Up and absolutely love it. In class we made a 6 sided lantern shaped box with a ribbon round the top that we punched holes in. This is such a great die with so many possibilities. Making it from a piece of card stock would have saved me the price of the die though.
I've seen a few of the 6 sided milk carton boxes. I know I've done a 5 sided one, can't remember if I did 6. I think I have... Without the die that is!
I'm just binging on your channel ,woooow u were recommended for me to look at to try to find out how to make my own popcorn box I haven't seen one like that on here I thought that if I learned how to make a box that had just an opening like the popcorn box and then I could lay a scalloped border die on each side of the paper when I filled it up and make it popcorn box but I don't know how to make the Box
Love your videos. Can you tell me what make is the sticky strip you use. .? Mine is not red so wondering if yours is stronger? Just bought an envelope punch board so looking forward to trying out some of your ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Dina, I have lots of different types of Milk Carton type boxes. I have very tall ones to hold mini bottles of wine and medium ones. Short fat ones and wide ones....
This is just beautiful.... but i don´t know why, I couldn´t use your mesures, it just didn´t came out. I did it with a 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" cardstock and then score at 2"-4"-6"-8" and then 1/2"-1 3/4"-3 3/4" and it came out wondefully. Thanks so much for share. Regards from Colombia...
Samantha Philp its double sided tape in the US sort of like the Elmers Tape Runner. JoAnns, Michael's, and Wal-Mart have it. just look for Double Sided Tape.
Hi, I just found your channel and I really like it, but in the shops where I live, I can't find that "tool" that you use in a lot of your videos (in this one you take it at minute 0:58). Do you know if I can find it in internet? Thank you very much
adorable but it's way too fast & I keep rewinding and get very frustrated . I have the die & tried that too but too fast so have wasted a lot of paper. I haven't done anything with paper very much so I am going to try and find someone who goes a little slower. I know you have time limits so thank you for what I have learned. Gail
FAVAof4 I found this video for making the milk cartons. It might help. I have made quite a few. It goes pretty slow. Watch "Origami Twist" on UA-cam ua-cam.com/users/OrigamiTwist

For me this worked better as a 2,4,6,8 box on the long side and a 2,2,1 on the short.... but love your tutorials... thanks again
Right

I made a vocal error on the video, although I scored it correctly (oops!), but the correct measurements are on my blog x

If you mean the scoring board, Stampin' Up sells them. Martha Stewart has one, too, and I got mine on Amazon.

2ND SCORE SHOULD BE 3 3/4 NOT 2 3/4. I CAN'T EDIT VIDEO :-( SO SORRY. OR CHECK MY BLOG POST FOR CORRECT XX
I thought I was losing my mind because after watching it 3 times I still had it wrong! LOL... whew.
And it's 3 and 3/4" not 2 and 3/4" :( scored all 22 of my treat boxes before realizing something was off)
Sasha Gonzalez yes, me too
I was going for the same measure, I only do 4 and have to see closely the video
Make me three

It would be helpful if you moved your hand after each time you score, so the viewer can gauge the distance between score lines, to be sure.
