Having grown up in a small town in Italy, Dominga rarely saw tattoos on people - but she knew she wanted them anyway. At 17, she convinced her mother to take her to get her first tattoo and today, she's a tattoo artist specializing in blackwork tattoos. We talked with Dominga about blackwork, the freeing feeling of face tattoos and more on this episode of Heavily Inked.

Her tattoos are so beautiful, I love blackwork the most. I'm still not so much into blackout (when it's just all black) but when they use negative space like that spider 3:46 I think it's very cool.

If anything this should be an example to wait until you're 21+ and research styles before you just start getting tattooed. This was definitely me started at 16. Most of those gotten at a young age have been covered. None of mine before 25 when I figured out my style were good 😅

Or at least 25 for anything fairly visible on your neck, hands and face. Honestly 21 is not much different than 18 this day and age. The brain isn't fully developed until 25, and people don't start getting established until after 25. In fact, 30 is when you become a real adult, and when I got the majority of my tattoos. This is coming from someone who is 43. 41 is when I got my first face tattoo. And I don't recommend people get the face til at least over 30, and fairly inked.

No tattoos, just another screen waste, the time waste of money. If you're a beautiful, you don't need tattoos, tattoos are terrible. Everybody's jumping on the bandwagon to have tattoos, just the same as trends, and all that is not acceptable. Sorry but if you came into my place, I would kick you out. And all the others with tattoos over their faces. Tattoos should be from the neck down and from the wrists up. Shouldn't be on display at the time. I'm sorry but I feel strongly about this. No tattoos.
