Something is wrong with the tire setup on the 221.. my wifw has an 2008 with AMG package which comes with 19inch and the wheels are staggered. 275 in the back and 255 in the front. I know for sure the face lift model which is in this video come with 275 in the rear also. Trust me i work on mercedes specifically... ok i stand correct i post before watching more of the video.. this car is 4matic and it doesnt come staggered.. rear wheel drive comes staggered 😂😂
9:37 this is one reason i'm thinking about going with the s550. i'm not a fan of loud luxury cars.. it's an odd dichotomy to recline in plush leather with a big loud engine in your ear.
@@strykz63 i will say, the s63 i bought was modified to be louder, it was a 2013. i ended up driving a 2018 s63 that wasn't loud. in fact, it had modes that made it quiet or loud. i had already bought my s550 by then, but i may consider a factory s63 in the future
I had both of these including a 2012 s65 and had nothing but Rattles and Squeaks from cheap plastic including Sterring column Shake in the 221 over rough roads!

I'm thinking of getting an s63 coupe in uk but i worry about it not being 4 wheel drive - and am therefore favouring an amg gt63s...I dont chop and change cars much. I know i like mercs and the s63 would be a zero brainer if it had 4matic. Whats your view? - Having rolled at 80 during my youth im not keen on high powered cars that will kill you if you make an error due to being stupdily powerful through only the rear typres. Should i worry about this with the s63 in your view?
@@ahmedxkhan agreed! I ended up with amg gt63s. But only for a few months- awesome fun but not a good high quality ride- Porsche pan turbo s ehybrid is better made, drives way better and rides better, with no lag, plus double the fuel consumption than merc. Plus 4 wd! Now a Porsche fan boy!!!!
U think so im think of gettin the new one cus the interior more sleek all black..and not to mention that middle backseat port for my 2 twelves facing forward in a inward seald box...so the bass can travel out the front amd no trunk rattle...beuriful ..

4 matic is a MUST in a mercedes sedan. Plz dont buy a rwd car

It really does. The new one is way too floaty. You got over a bump and the whole car shift side ways. The old one remains planted.
