Amores Perros blew my mind, but yes, what a year and this is a true masterpiece. As it is set in the olden times, it does not date and is still beautiful and wonderful.
I honestly think that Amores Peros should been nominated for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing, alongside with Best Foreign Language Film. It truly deserves it in my opinion.

It is so distracting to see so many actors in the audience CHEWING THEIR CUDS, They belong in a barn. That shows very little respect for themselves because it makes them look like adolescents and not the adults they are and also shows their indifference to the profession they are representing. Thank God they have all grown up in 2019 and are not seen in current award shows chewing gum. Nervousness is not an excuse for chewing gum. If you are that nervous, stay home.
