Looks like a good one if you can get over the missing two cylinders. The boot light has integral switch operated by mercury which makes contact when lid opens and angle is correct. Generally a new switch is needed to get it working Radiator should be painted black gloss but not too shiny. Good luck with the project and dont forget to drive it
Thanks, It is a solid car with a lot of work carried out by the previous owner over a Twenty year period. I'll check the boot switch thanks. I've looked at quite a few images of engine bays and it seems there is a 50/50 split between brass and black tinted Radiators. I must say my preference is Black, I've painted a few items on my Elan with smooth hammerite to good effect so I think I'll go with that. I'll see how I get on with the 4 pot!! Cheers David
