Welp, now I know why Luna's hair is all wavy in the flashback of the Season 4 finale. I always thought that her hair was all light bluish because she was younger.

If you saw when Luna came back from the moon her Maine looked like that because she was weaker and most of her magic needed to restore its self When she was younger and didn’t have strong magic this was the same case
Well... The two are quite different from each other. Luna is more fun to hang around with and she is very easily relatable to because of the difficulty she is having fitting in, but then again, Celestia is the one that will always be the one to look up to and be there for you when you need her support. Would really be a very tough choice between them. I have slowly begun to understand both characters, and they seem to be much deeper than one might expect from a show primarily targeted for children. I just can't help it, I like them both and it seems to be a draw however I look at it. One day it might be Luna who pulls ahead slightly, and Celestia the other. But right now... Right now, I find the thought of Celestia most comforting because of the very difficult time I have been going trough in last few months. So I'd appreciate if no-one started arguing about my current choice.

She banished her for 1000 years because she needed time to process the betrayal. But when she has the time to think it over realized that Luna was likely corrupted. She has twilight and her friends save her cause they would have a non-biased heart. If Luna went against her she wasn’t sure how much conviction she would have Or if her feelings would influence the decision again. So she sent twilight, someone who would learn what it meant to have friends and then unbiased she would heal rather than punish.
I feel like the reason why Nightmare Moon was trapped in the moon instead of Celestia turning her back into Luna was because Celestia didn't represent loyalty, laughter, and kindness. If she would've represented them all, like how each one of the mane six do, then she would've turned Nightmare Moon back into Luna instead of trapping her.
I think one thing missing that came from the comics is Tibbles or Sir Tiberius if you want his full name, an opossum that Luna adopted as a pet. She apparently just randomly took him home from the Whitetail Woods

I personally think Nightmare Moon isn't Luna, but a creature that possessed Luna and made her cruel. (Similar to Venom in Spiderman) This theory started with a single quote from the comics from Nightmare Rarity. "It's true, your powers defeated me before, little ponies, but what will you do now that I've taken one of you? Without all of you, your elements of harmony are powerless." Indicating that it was never Luna, to begin with, but a separate entity (Perhaps similar to a Umbrum) It makes sense when you think about it. Nightmare Moon took over Luna's body because of her immense jealousy for her sister. (Basically made her an open target) Though I doubt Luna is aware of this though due to her blaming herself for what Nightmare Moon did. Plus I don't see how Nightmare Moon could return in any matter unless this theory was true and perhaps Nightmare Moon comes back by possessing someone else.

remember when luna was reverted back by the mane and she was in a weak form and we say its because her magic was weak and she needed time to regain the power that was drained from her I also think that mabye before celestia imprisoned her on the moon she stripped luna of her power to control the moon so she could raise it and when she came back she gave her power back to her.

It keeps the idea of a nightmarish creature, but in french, nightmare is cauchemar, so they chose demoniac instead (imagine La Jument Sélémar, or La Jument Caucheselene xD). But the idea is still there, Even if I dont get why they translated it xD In the Gameloft app they didn't as for the Everfree forest which french name is...
