This was a great movie that left an impression on me. I'd had 3 miscarriages and knew I may have a problem with fertility. About 3yrs after I saw it, I was diagnosed infertile. Surrogacy was my only option, and my sister and sister in law both volunteered. I didn't see any issues with either of them, but I did with my doctor. Gut instinct. I don't know what happened. I didn't want to do it at all, even with a different doctor. I immediately wanted adoption, not medical intervention. My husband left me over it because he wanted his dna in our children. My dna was irrelevant to him. We lived in Indianapolis IN. Imagine my shock when Netflix aired Our Father about this exact doctor!!! I was hurt but ok about ex leaving me. After I picked up my jaw from the floor watching that show I was extremely grateful he left. I can only imagine how the dna news would have affected ex husband if we had actually used this doctor for a child. I know surrogacy is a gift for many, I understand that, but it definitely isn't for all.
This film kind of leaves a bad taste with me. The surrogate mother should have left the girl twin with her family, who wanted her so dearly. I felt for the boy twin, but he got his mom. I think the dad who gave his sperms in good faith should have rights. Just my opinion. No hate
The girl twin has the same right to her biological mother as the boy twin. Sharon & Bill should have taken BOTH,as it is totally unfair to the surrogate mother and her family to strand HER son.
I really cannot believe I am seeing this. Surrogate mother: what altruism. N no money involved? I think it is involved. It should be illegal as it is in the country where I live

TRUTH 💯
Splitting up siblings never right so no girl belonged with her brother
I can't understand why the rich couple didn't want the healthy boy. I would be thrilled to have a boy and a girl twin in one pregnancy.
The Davis’s should go adopt kids
The surrogate mother was a real witch at the end.
❤❤❤❤
