LOVE the Mary and Jesus prints over the bassinet. SO sweet there. I imagine you can see them from the family room, too? Such a sweet way to draw you into the room!
Warm and inviting. So happy to hear about your entertaining - that home has seen hundreds of gatherings and new history being created. From a den to a nursery.
That peg board came out soo cute! Love the way you say 'let's just try it!' Great choice of slim wood and keeping it the same color as wall. Very nice!
In your nursery, I hung a vintage dress on a ceramic hook on the wall, reminds me of you putting a cute outfit on the pegs. Also...When you moved to your first 'big girl' room, I put peg racks all around the inside of the closet, down low, so you could hang bags of toys. It worked well.
I can feel all the love flowing in the atmosphere of your boys room! Beautiful transformation! Keep building your castle! Congratulations Emily and family! 💖
I have a lot of random pictures that I have picked up over time. Want to find your collage video for ideas, as my tries aren’t always my favorite. (But sometimes they are!😄) Neat idea on the corner collage. Thanks for sharing the words at the end. You are a fav of mine!❤ Love in Jesus!
Hi Emily! I have been watching the last few of your videos and can really relate to where you are. We have SO much in common! My husband went through residency 10 years ago and we have taken on two house flips while married, one of those in the few months before and early days of his 1st year. (What were we thinking?) We are still doing projects because we love to create and DIY even now with three kiddos. I appreciated your words from the Habits of the Household book and I'm definitely going to check it out. I'm also thinking over what you shared from the kitchen video over the idea of romanticizing our lives. ( I have the same photo of the old man praying!). I think those of us that see beauty, find beauty, and make beauty out of nothing reflect a part of God that is very special. He is the creator of beauty and in our quest to thrift/design/diy, I believe we are a lot like Him in those moments. That's why we get "the spark" from doing it! From a fellow believer, you're doing great and I know the Lord will bless your efforts this week in motherhood and as you speak life into others through your videos.
Hi Erin! I’ve read this comment about 3 times now. I LOVE how you phrase our connection to God’s creation. Thank you for sharing that! I had never thought of that connection before ❤️ and amazing to hear from someone who got through to the other side. It’s so easy to treat these years like they need to be survived through instead of lived through. Spend the little time we do get, to do what we love when we can. Sounds like you guys did the same with your renovation during first year. That‘a BRAVE hahah. Anyway, thanks for watching and sharing these words and encouragement ☺️
You KNOW I love spray painting things. Such a great way to update things quickly.
Haha it is!

Yes!! Invites you in. And the Mary and Jesus needlepoint I thrifted is outside the room so you see it from the rocker 🥰
Perfect. I find it so good to place religious artwork to focus our heart
I want to read the book Habits of the Household! Sounds really good.
Highly recommend!

Love that! Wouldn’t have thought of in the closet but it’s a great use of space!
I love how this space came together even with things that didn’t necessarily match nor are perfect! Let me know how you think it turned out!
