When I hear this song, I imagine a scene... A noble samurai stands before a woman clad in a burning kimono, the area was a forest, now razed to the ground, all that remains is charred fragments of wood that once stood there as formidable trees, the scorched ground, and the ashes of war. "Why have you done this, Kyouko? Why go on this rampage of yours?" The samurai loudly questions, but the woman does not answer. Her eyes are dyed in red, she's clearly not herself. "I'll bring you back home, and we will find a way to go back to how things were!" As the samurai finished his sentence, the woman raised pillars of fire from the ground, they surround the samurai one by one, getting closer and closer(beat drop section), and the samurai sees his life flash before his eyes. The moment he met Kyouko, a wounded half human, half demon. He was sent to resolve a Yokai problem, but he had not anticipated this. He bandaged her wounds, and kept her a secret to the world. Happy moments of the two together flash through his mind, living as nomads, taking on bounties for funds, food and shelter. He remembers the time they found a village that accepted them, where they bought a home together. He remembers the fights they've fought together, side by side, her fire, and his blade. With that memory, he realises how to resolve this ordeal. He focuses on his blade, and dashes right through each and every pillar, unscathed(beat drop again), and as he approaches his wife, he notices the strings binding her, silky, glowing strands, seemingly coming from the air itself. He jumps over her as she tries to cast new pillars of fire, and slices each string in one swift motion. The woman slumps to the ground, and as the man catches her from her fall, he says "everything will be fine now, let's go home..." a slight smile appears on the woman's face before she faints from exhaustion, and all fades to black.
