Thank you for this video. I've just finished my Emulationstation setup & I have an Xbox360 wheel & you've just made my day, I will be getting mine hooked now. 🖒
Many thanks for your video, you just had to combine the steering wheel with the directional cross and the pedal with buttons A and B in RetroArch, it's the same function as RetroPie 👍🏼👌🏼.
Hello and congratulations for the video. I tried my Logitech Driving force GT for the with Raspberry retopie. I have tried Outrun for Genesis and MAME and it works fine. The only problem is that the steering is too soft and there is no Analogic Stick sensitivity option on my reroarch. Should I update Retroatch? Thanks so much
Hey! You could try updating. Retroarch does tend to have different options from update to update so that could solve the issue. Updates always make me nervous as some updates can cause new issues. Do you know what update your system is on currently?
Great vid, very useful, thanks. But i noticed you didn't map gears, could be possible to use an arcade stick, and map it as High and Low gear as in the original arcade?
@@OfficialChaseBrogan I just thought you'd have more control. Your video has inspired me to have a go. I've got a few old games that would benefit from this. Thanks.
Hey, thanx for the vid. Quick question. Does every steering wheel will work? Or is there something that i should avoid purchasing for compatibility issues? thanx
trying to map logitech g923 for moving an avatar to help a disabled person. Anyone know the best software to make this happen? I tried joy to key but i just dont understand this kind of stuff. any help would be great
I was able to configure. I can scroll the menu and select a game but when it goes into the game the wheel does not work. It defaults back to the arcade joystick and buttons. Can someone help me.
I have only used the one for xbox one with a usb adapter but I believe any usb one will work. In the video description are a couple links to some that I have heard work.
Thank god I kept this wheel in my closet!!! And it works well.
Awesome!!

Definitely a great addition to take advantage of
@@OfficialChaseBrogan Is it possible to backup each emulator controller config file, and if so, where are they kept? Thank you.
@@AlwaysEngland honestly not sure of that

Hey did you just plugged and play like the video?
Thanks. I wonder if there's a way to do something like this with NES games. I think RC Pro Am might be fun with a wheel.
Yeah you should be able to do the same with those games too

You probably could. I didn't try that but it should work.
Curious as to why you didn't use the wheel for the stick steering for more precise control.
No idea just a rookie when it comes to the wheel controls

@@tubeisace yoh are probably right about that. I'm going to try this on Batocera as well with a different wheel. I'll definitely try that out.
How many degrees have this steering wheel? I feel like the car only moves if you get to the end of the steering wheel turn

It should still work.
Can it be used for analog control? Or just left right control, if ygm?
I believe it can be used as analog.

Did this wheel also work on batocera? I noticed a comment where you mentioned you might give it a go
I didn't try with batocera. Don't have this one anymore to test
Which kind of steering wheel works on retropie? Only xbox360 or any usb pc wheel/need to install drivers?
Thanks
