Allows fighters to promote themselves or go under contract so they get to shop around a little more today than In the 90s when King controlled boxing. For ppv fights usually fighters get some type of guaranteed money. Ofcourse u never know with King tho. There's upfront money and then there's what he will owe u. I actually met the man in 98. I was young but he was actually real nice.

I have an amazing story. One time I was driving home and I felt the presence of the Lord, come down to me from above. I started getting chills and I felt so comfortable with Him.
I knew if I asked Him to play a song on the radio, He would.
So I said "Ok Lord, play Come as you are..."
I didn't know what station it was on or anything, but I turned the radio on and the song started playing right on the spot, perfectly...
I started getting flooded with chills inside, and started crying. When I got home, He stayed with me for 10 minutes till I got out of the car.
I've been getting answered prayers for around 5 years since, because that visitation eliminated doubt and I follow Biblical instructions as best as I can.
Don still speaks sharp and clear and has that wisdom of the boxing business game. 🥊🥊🥊🥊

You literally have to go back a decade to when he had the potential to be the next big star in boxing. We were all fooled into thinking he was spectacular because he was beating less-talented boxers. Every top ranked opponent he fought against showed his boxing deficiencies. We were dazzled with him because of his speed power and Showmanship .
