I don't see much issue with the rework for holy, it makes the potion a bit more balanced and all the other potions were also balanced to the same level, it's designed to work with higher health combos rather than the lower ones now meaning you don't get a holy rush that you can't do anything about, it's just like the other potions, might is ability focused by improving the ability affects for some combos, speed is much more speed focused by not only increasing the walkspeed but also the speed of other parts such as justice reload, health is focused on healing in a more general way now. It all makes sense and with them nerfing the higher sans the balance should come together in time, as they said it won't be perfect the first time, they juet have to play around with it to see what works
90% of character had at least one holy counter, and spam jumps 99% of the time would dodge most attacks from old holy users. now holy isnt even viable against extremely high damage characters like 404, omega flowey (nothing is viable for omega flowey) and any high damage dealer.
That is an issue with the new holy I will admit, though even the old holy had issues with those characters, 404 especially (not even including omega jn this argument considering nothing can stop it) since Blue mastery could completely nullify holy. I think the issue is more with the characters than the potion which is understandable considering the fact that they have to incentivise progression, and since I am not a developer I do not know the best course for action to make it fair for everyone
@@EditGamingRBLXholy is still better than the other potions in my opinion, the other potions are viable to basically any fight (except might potion) however the tradeoff is that might potion and holy are so much more effective than the others (speed or healing wont defend you against large area/high damage characters as well
It may be a bit of a nerf, but it fixed 1 important thing. Horrors and Killers instakill are now effective due to the holy glitch being gone. Also an asgor combo(or dustbelief) with basically 2x hp now is trouble
Dustblief 2666 hp whit 50% dmg reduction vs asgore 3000 hp whit 10%
dmg reduction doesnt work on shields like i was playing normally with asgore combo and when my shield was gone i noticed i was taking less dmg@@shiirby3158
@@shiirby3158 Asgore has 20% damage reduction when moving and an additional 10% damage reduction when standing still
But your holy shield completely ignores your combo damage reduction (so with dustbelief combo or other combos like asgore combo when you use holy you Will stop having that extra damage reduction)

That's pretty much all you can do.
I agree with Edit on most points, And also do agree with him on the fact Holy did in fact get nerfed, But also some of these clips show the person using holy to be absolutely dogshit, Most Examples are just… Not good players and they end up tanking for no reason, Holy Pot is far from bad it pretty much boils down to a second life with no Heals but No Karma/bleed, Is it the best potion in the Game? I’d say yes. Of course some combos have special affects with specific pots, For example Fear Combo/ Betty Combo with might which in those particular cases are better, Also the nerf was entirely justified considering a fair chunk of the Characters in this game could be holy rushed and just lose all their Dodges/Health, This was both a nerf to the Chara team And a buff to the Sans team which is practically what everybody wanted after the No Balance Update.

Holy was worse than healing before holy was even reworked (but after healing was reworked.)
It is undeniably a nerf, but a necessary one. You were basically able to hit sans at least 6 times with the old Holy potion, since the game allows 4 human players, that meant up 24 free hits, which is extremely stupid ans incredibly unfair.
This new holy forces you to use your brain and use it carefully, it is undeniably bad when used with low HP combos, but combos like Dustbelief, Dustdust and Asgore are a huge threat with it. It's meant to be a defensive item, not a free ticket to deal insane amounts of damage to your opponent.

@@amandawoodson1250ulc's stamina system isn't that great either. If there's one person on the chara team, you can just stop attacking, and only move when they're about to hit you. You'll regen to full stamina in like 30 seconds
I grinded days for holy just for this to happen sad i atleast have every other potion other than healing
Me too, althought the first potion I got was actually Holy.
I have experienced both versions, and honestly even if the new one is shit I just don’t care.
@@pacifistichuman82649Exactly what happened to me. Now it’s not enough to kill FDYs second phase and fatal is back to being impossible to beat unless there is a cancer- I mean dustdust combo. Also you lost coins because they made it cost as much as hp potion.

Haha, good thing I just now got into normal servers, also I would like to note that killer combo + speed potion makes you the fastest man in the world like is actually insanity how fast you can go when mixing these two together
Also,the holy potion shield ignores your combo damage reduction so if you are a dustbelief combo user (with his 50% damage reduction) and use the holly potion you will basically only get half of his hp,since he will loose his 50% damage reduction.
How can this be called a holy potion being that it costs the same price as the power potion's speed potion and on top of that the healing potion is much better.
You basically get 1 more lives if you use it when u got max hp this can be useful at souls that has 1 lives its good for me bcuz i only got 800 wins and it helps me to survive more while other ppl are attacking

This single update has once again made integrity combo even more useless the ONLY combo that integrity COULD overcome in terms of hp gets a huge buff cause of speed potion justice is now broken for dodge characters lol

fact : low wins and medium wins sever still got the same cost for potion (might = 1000 and speed = 750)
note : health potion in low wins and medium wins are 1500 coins while holy cost 3000 coins

@@Sansman888. to be fair, yes an extra life from holy is good and all, but only really good on combos with really high max hp like reaper chara combo or six souls asgore combo. not to mention the holy shield disables all forms of healing until the shield is gone as well, but we all knew that already

For example rape- reaper chara rushing her is just a mistake but with old holy and good players had a chance to hit her and do dmg (even tho she has a lot of invinsibilty moves and envoy of chaos) now to be honest without a good gaming dustdust combo she is unbeatable

Holy potion is good with high hp combos and can give combos a theoretical 2nd life as the shield is made with 100% of your max hp increase survivability and I swear at least 50% of yall complaing about holy rework are just mad you can't rush with invincibility anymore and ngl I might switch over to the new holy just for the hp shield

@@sharknado2724yep, and im not really sure but i said this because i think you get like 3999 hp or 5222 hp at disbelief phase 3 with dustbelief combo, and 4500 hp or 6000 hp in disbleief phase 3 with asgore combo. so i think this is the direct counter to disbelief phase 3, but still the hp is insane when its not that, since you can have 2666 hp with dustbelief and 3000 with asgore combo, so i really think this is a buff in one way and a nerf in another.

New holy is B tier, the only reason it’s still viable is because it’s like an additional life, and it’s really good with dustbelif and asgore, but any combos besides those will not be as effective.

welp also might be due to the coding of the attacks system is being old(like fr it creates lag so bad in some games hitbox becomes so big you get hit from 30 miles away or just crashes people(undertale remnants of multiverse))
