I agree with you brother. Because I am getting around 50-56kmpl in Hyderabad traffic. I use it for daily office commute. And it varies from petrol type. Indian oil petrol -50kmpl HP petrol - 53kmpl Bharat petroleum - 55.5kmpl I have got the above from tank to tank with no premium petrol. But I have to admit that the fiber quality basically tank is not good in V3 bs4. And it is not a family bike.
Good test, but this was in very ideal conditions of constant highway use at perfect speed, but in practical life, people have to constantly stop in traffic, change gears, use clutch, carry pillion riders or luggage and these factors reduce mileage. I have a version 2 FZS and i tried a similar test myself and filled some litres of petrol after empty tank, when i calculated trip meter after my regular use it showed 45km per litre with mixed use of 70% highway and 30% city traffic, still not bad for a 150cc bike.

Yamaha ka bike acha mileage deta hai. Aaj maine mileage test kia tha mere fazer v1 2010 model ka, abhi bhi 48 km/ltr aram se de deta hai under 60kmph speed. It's unbelievable.
I got 65+ kmpl mileage as well. Even with pillion. I always say its 55+ because i know nobody believes that. At first i was saying i must have made a mistake while calculating the mileage. When i buy another bike, I'll still be keeping fzs with me.
I returned from Butwal to Kathmandu in FZS V3 BS6 . Its a route of about 280km and I filled up petrol of worth 1000 rupees ( equals to 5.5 litres considering Nepal's per litre cost NRS 182.) And guess what it provided me 303 KMS of distances. And for your information, the route of Butwal to Kathmandu is fucking irritating where you constantly have to apply brakes. Even though its a highway, we can take it as a city scenario. This is not an exaggeration, earlier up to 3rd servicing , I didn't get more than 51 kmpl. Up to first servicing, it was only 48. And in this long journey I got about 55.

Premium petrol doesn't give more mileage it's just there is less impurities in that type petrol... And good for engine... Its also used in racing... Because it's good for power efficient and performance oriented bikes ...

Bro.. Extra Premium is the best petrol... Everything you said is correct... But your method of testing is not... Mileage.. Is never accurate it is Average KMPL... What one needs to do to arrive at an approximate figure.. Which is Average KMPL.. Number 1)use 3 litres complete the ride and divide the number of kms completed by the no of litres added for eg: if bike completes 150 km then divide by 3 =50 KMPL.. That is the only way one can get an approximate figure. 30 years of riding and still going strong. Stay safe.

I check mileage every 3 days of work when I refill the tank.
